A/N: Another request! This one from my best friend on this wonderful site, moodi-chan! She gave me a great idea (and a little insight) so this piece is for her!

Concern

Kakashi sighed, he hated going on extremely long missions--especially when it meant leaving his wife of three weeks.

True, the mission was only a week long--and he's gone on a few year-long missions--but it would be the longest he's gone with out seeing Sakura since they began dating, when she was twenty-two and he thirty-six.

The mismatched-eyed ninja knew his wife could take care of herself--after all, she had grown into a remarkable kunoichi and woman.

But that wasn't what he was really worried about. He had other people to consider too--including a dear friend that he had had for years.

He wasn't like Naruto--who had the ability to heal from anything in a matter of days. He wasn't nearly as self-sufficient as Sakura--who had endured emotional and psychological pain that rivaled his own.

Normally, he would get Sora to look after his dependent friend while he was gone.

But the girl just had to go. Who goes on a trip to celebrate their first year anniversary anyways?

He made a mental note to get back at Shino for taking her away--he decided that a can of explosive bug spray would be just the ticket.

He was positive that Naruto still had some left from April Fools Day.

Kakashi snickered at the thought. No one messed with--

"Kakshi, I know what you're doing."

Damn it.

Putting on his best, innocent expression, the silver-haired nin smiled amiably.

"Dear, I'm not doing anything but the dishes that you commanded--I mean asked--me to do."

"You always were a crappy liar, sweetheart."

"Why would I lie to you, pumpkin?"

"Maybe because you know that I will not let you use Naruto's horrendous April fools prank--which may I remind you, got him put into the hospital--to get back at Aburame Sora for celebrating an important day of her and Shino's life!"

Damn it again.

"Now, princess,--"

"Drop the act, sensei."

He scowled.

She smirked.

Three.

Two.

One.

"But Sakura, I had Sora first!"

"Kakashi, you didn't even know her name until I told you it! You just said, 'hey you'."

"So?"

A vein twitched in Sakura's temple. It was times like these that made Sakura wonder why she ever married him. Her eyes quickly flickered towards the bedroom in remembrance.

Ah, that was why.

Shaking her head to clear her thoughts. She could think about that later.

"Kakashi, I can take care of it--"

"Of him, Sakura. Of him,"

Rolling her eyes, the pink-haired woman continued.

"It's not that difficult. I just make sure he gets hydrated and fed."

Cringing, Kakashi shook his head vigorously.

"No, Sakura! It's more than that! You have to make sure he gets sunlight and make sure that he doesn't get to hot or cold."

"Yes, Kakashi. I know."

"And make sure you talk to him, I read that if you don't--"

"It's a plant, Kakashi. Mr. Ukki is a plotted plant."

Eyes wide with shock, Kakashi fumbled out a reply.

"See, this is why I don't want you to take care of him! You think he is just a plant. That greenhouse, plant girl cared."

"Sora, Kakashi. Her name is Sora."

"So?"

"OW!"

Kakashi rubbed his head angrily.

"Sakura, you just punched me!"

"So?"

Ah, the crack. Please review!!!
