You've finally made it through year one of high school with no major issues. Your grades are above average, your attendance nearly perfect, and you've blended in quite well.

Perhaps a bit too well, actually- though you have small acquaintances, there's not much you have in the way of friendship. It isn't that you're opposed to making connections, but you feel as though they're something you have a hard time understanding.

How do you go about the whole "getting to know someone" thing? Do you just spill out information to someone until you find something in common?

What if you have nothing in common? Do you give up? What if you dislike the other person? Do you flat out tell them that?

It isn't bothersome to you, but you can't help but have these thoughts as you walk back to your apartment. Reaching your building, you find an uncommon spectacle outside- someone is moving into the apartment above you. You casually observe the scene as you make your way to the door, and out of the corner of your eye, you see something.

A flash of shoulder length brown hair rushes by you and makes its way to the stairs, leaving behind a sweet and fruity scent. You watch a young girl make her way into the apartment just above yours, now with a new label on the door- "Sengoku."
