A/N This is my contribution to the Rin and Shiemi week of 2018 March the 6th-12th so I hope I you all like it I didn't really prepare I totally did this on a whim so heads up for any bad grammar so with out further a due on to the story.

~ Rebirth ~

It was a beautiful morning as usual as any other day would start. As she skipped merrily down the large bridge starting her day off by going to school. As she made it up to the door stationed at the end of the bridge she carefully pulled out her key placing it in the key hole.

As she twisted the key to unlock the door stepping through, she was met with a surprising overjoyed Rin. Wait, why would that be surpising? A sudden glance towards her he flashed his keen canine teeth at her as she began to blush.

What was going on with her why did that make her heart tense up there? Deep in her thoughts she didnt realiz the said boy had approched her bidding her a good morning.

" Um hello Shiemi you in there?" He waved his hand infront of her trying to get her attention she jerked back a little bit afried he might see her tinted cheeks. She shyed away from him as he exsamined her face closer.

" Are you alright your face is completly red, do you have a fever or something?" Shiemi really couldnt answer that question maybe what she was feeling was some up coming fever or it might be the heat the sun was blazing down on her. She shook her head.

" No I'm fine really Rin, dont worry." He raised a brow at her not convinced with her confession. He reached up and placed his hand on her forehead she let out a tiny gasp at this sudden contact of flesh. She shut her eyes tight, her face flushed with embarrassment.

" Your burning up there are you sure your-" She smacked his hand away from her, turning into the next hall running as far away from the concern boy as possible.

Running she smacked her cheeks together from burning up even more. Of all days why did she have to run into him. Shiemi whined pitifully angry at herself for feeling this way there was no explanation for it.

School went on as routine leading into cram school of course she avoided sitting next to Rin still embarrassed from what happened this morning. But it seemed he didn't seem affected by what happened this morning at all.

He was chatting away with Bon and Shima as they usually do on slow days like this. Seeing him smile made her heart feel warmth. Its been like this lately when she's around him it feels like somethings flourishing deep inside her but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.

All she knew was, he set fire to the world around him but never let a flame touch her. And maybe one day this feeling will soon grow into something beautiful because Shiemi knew one thing that was true she just couldn't get enough of this sensation.
