ONLY HUMAN
It was simply a normal day; Lord Fear and Kilobyte had been oddly quiet for a couple weeks now. No attacks on any of the Lightning knights, it was suspicious of course. He must be up to something, but they would have to be patient to find out what it is.
Sparx sighed sitting back, besides Ace the only other people she could she were Mark and Chuck and they were at school. Soon they would be going on what they called 'summer vacation' meaning they did not have to go to school for a while.
She hadn't been very nice to Mark in the past, and she regretted it now. She would say what she thought, before thinking about what she was about to say. She had apologized; he had proven himself a very resourceful person and a worthy Lightning knight repeatedly.
Even so, she found it odd that she would begin thinking about him for no particular reason. She chalk it up to sheer boredom, she would give anything for a good fight right now. Ace was calmer with the situation; he always had more patience then her.
He was probably thinking about Lady Illusion, she learned to deal with his feelings for her. She got over it, some guys have bad taste in girls.
She touched her temples, her head began to throb, was she losing power? No this felt different, the pain turned into a numbing sensation. It spread from her head to her entire body, she collapsed, and let out a scream.
Ace, who had been preoccupied with recharging himself quickly rushed to her side.
"Sparx, what's wrong?" He asked.
She couldn't answer, the numbness was beginning to fade. She was feeling a bit odd still, but she wasn't in any kind of pain and she didn't feel any discomfort. '
"I…I think I'm okay." Ace didn't respond, she looked up at Ace who's face was stricken with shock. "Ace what is it?" She asked. The door to the observatory opened and in walked Mark.
"Hey Ace, Sparx-" He stopped and stared for a second in disbelief..
Spark looked to her hands, they were smaller, they were a different color. She pulled her sword out of it's holster, it was heaver then she remembered, she had to use both hands to hold it. She looked at her reflection in the metal.
Her skin, her face, it was all different. She was smaller, she looked exactly like she was….human.
