yep, while I should update a story I made this. Yeah... I was kinda depressed. Well... Enjoy.
Arthur was many things. A writer, a father, a business man, a traveler, a lover, a husband, along with many other things. But there was one thing he wasn't (probably more than one but this was the most important one) and that was free.
You see, a few years ago Arthur was convicted of murder. He had a terrible lawyer that basically wanted him to go to prison. Arthur lost the trial and had to go to prison. He had a life sentence with little chance of parol. He was off to prison for a crime he never committed.
So there Arthur was, sitting in his cold, draughty cell, looking out the cell window.
He listens to the rain as it falls from the sky hitting the roof top. Lost in his thoughts...
He wonders about his family, his children mostly. Oh, how he pitied his children. Living their little lives without their father. Not knowing what it could be like if they had a father to be there cheering them on, every step of the way. Not being able to walk them down the aisle. Not ever to clap for them after they graduate. Not even able to tie their shoes.
Arthur lets a single tear slide down his face. He will never even get a chance to see his children again.
Arthur silently cries with the rain. As the rain falls so does his tears. Poor, poor Arthur. Stuck in a cell never getting a second chance at life.
Forever stuck in a cell that he will never escape. For something he never done.
Yeah it kinda sucks.
