A/N: A little drabble about the School for Good and Evil post book. So beware of spoilers. I absolutely adored this book and cannot wait to read the rest of the trilogy. Let's hope they come soon!

Keep out of the forest.

The students and faculty of the former School for Good and Evil spent there days in quiet, stunned, and yet companionable silence. They were figuring it out together, how the school out to be now that they had no competitions to prepare for, no battle between "good" and "evil". But even though everything should have been better, now that the crooked School Master was finally gone, the smartest of those at the school sensed that things were not right.

That's why, even though most of the students protested, the staff let none of the students near the forest. "Keep out of the forest," they said, so often that those words seemed like a ghostly echo in the marble halls.

The forest grew darker every day, every hour. They itched for something, something wicked.

The School Master's death had not stopped the cruel force that drove them into hideous fairytale lives. It had not stopped what was coming to their world, the school, their homes, and even a tiny town beyond the woods, where children still read storybooks.

There were two girls who understood what was coming more than anyone else. This fake fate had entangled them more than any others, it had taken them to where there were no teachers.

They never heard the teacher's whispers.

Keep out of the forest.
