Annabeth's P.O.V
Percy was daydreaming in outer space, I always wonder what he's thinking about. I thought hardly, finally sighing I sat down on the bench next to him"What are you thinking so hardly about?" I asked I tapped my foot; I raised my eyebrow getting suspicious.
"Huh. Oh nothing." Then my rival, Katricia ran up to Percy, winking at him she ran through her brown hair.
He smiled acting dumbfounded "How would you like to go swimming with me?" Percy grinned broadly. Nodding he left me here while they ran to the water, together. I knew it; Percy would fall for Poseidon's daughter. I walked away slowly to my cabin. When I saw the familiar room I sunk to the floor. A teardrop wet and cold slowly made it's way to the floor.
Percy's P.O.V
Swimming with Katricia was fantastic, I sure love relaxing and letting her make the air bubble in the water for once. I sighed and walked up to Grover. "Hey pal." I said
Grover gave me the oh it's you look.
"What's wrong with you?" he completely ignored me and walked away. What is everybody's problem? "Hey Katricia." She was tall with brown hair and sea green eyes. I smiled just looking at her. She popped a question at me .
"Who do you like better, me or Annabeth?" My smile faded away into a frown.
"Uhh, hmm." I stuttered and her face got more and more anxious.
Annabeth's P.O.V
Thalia was comforting me; I knew I would not win Percy. He's just too sweet and nice and a backstabbing loser! Thalia picked me up "Where are we going?"
"To Percy, he's got to apologize." When I heard those words I started trying to free myself from her deafening grip. When Percy came into view Thalia dropped me
"Ouch." Thalia shrugged, you can tell she was hiding a smile. Percy ran over a smile spread over his face. It turned upside down again.
"Katricia ambushed me with a question that I didn't want her telling you, so I pretended to go to the bathroom." Thalia gave a hand motion saying go ahead.
"Percy, it's over. I thought you loved me but go be with Katricia. I found someone else anyway." I said coldly. Percy stammered and he grabbed my arm, I stared at him for a minute, getting lost in his eyes. Then I shook his hand off my arm "Percy its over." I walked away regaining my strength.
Percy's P.O.V
I stood there staring at Annabeth's blonde curls bounce on her back. Thalia was saying something but I didn't hear them. Is that, really reality? I sank to my knees, as I watched Annabeth walk away, with each step my heart ached more and more. Then she turned and gave an icy glance.
Katricia strutted over here, grabbing my arm she took me to the lunch room. "What's the matter?"
"Nothing." I said pretending to be happy, even though my heart hurt from the memory.
Annabeth's P.O.V
I sat in my cabin, thinking who likes me. Justin has been trying to win me ever since he came. I walked over to the Hermes cabin, there was Justin flashing a smile my way. "I've been thinking. I should give you a chance." Justin beamed, he actually was cute. We strolled on the beach together. I smiled, seeing Percy walk by I acted totally in love.
