So this is my first crossover; we'll see how it goes...

Chapter 1

"Aghh!" I squirmed as I felt the impact of the bullet sting me through my thin vest. I could swear it had pierced itself into my ribcage. That's gonna leave a bruise. "Hit!" I called into the arena, my voice cracking the silence. My attacker fled down the forest path with a grin. Damn. I hate losing. Matsuoka and Yukimura are going to have to have to carry the team.

"Pop, pop, pop!" Shots rang out from behind me as I headed to the bench just beyond the exit to the arena.

"I'm hit!" A voice echoed from far behind me.

"Hit!"

"Me too, hit!"

With just those two, Toy Gun Gun is undefeated anyways. Those hit calls were definitely the three on the other team. Matsuoka probably got two, and Yukimura probably sniped the third in the chaos.

"Hey! Now where do you think you're going Tachibana-kun?" Yukimura clomped me on the head with a big hand patting my dark shaggy hair.

"You two did all of the work… Again." I said flatly as I continued to the wait site.

Matsuoka appeared beside his friend, grabbing his shoulder, "You got 'em good Tooru!" He chanted, his blue eyes shimmering in the afternoon sunlight. He grasped my shoulder now too, "Getting better Yuri. Not bad for someone that only recently has picked up the sport." He smiled warmly tilting his head to the side like a little kid. "But you still have a ways to go."

What a charmer. I looked away. Don't look at me like that. How can I keep a facade when you look so damn earnest?... No girls allowed on Toy Gun Gun… It's a rule… I had to break it though.

"Let's pack up and get you back home." Matsuoka said.

"Won't you bring me home too Mattsun~" Yukimura chimed in.

"You live next door to me, fool." Matsuoka replied sharply.

"Why does Tachibana-kun get special treatment?" Yukimura complained.

"I-it's not-" Matsuoka smacked his face with the palm of his hand. "Y-you know what? Whatever." He said giving up, though a faint blush remained tinting his fair cheekbones. Ever since that dream. Yuri as a woman. I still can't shake it. Yuri is a guy. A guy… A guy…

I stood on my toes waving a hand in front of Matsuoka's blank face. "You in there Matsuoka?... Heeeelllo?" His crystalline blue eyes snapped to me, scaring my heart into a race. "We're all packed up!" I said shaking the feeling as I swung my arm around Yukimura. "Let's get going! I gotta be back in time for dinner, otherwise my younger brother will be upset." I promised Wataru I'd sit next to him today and eat with the rest of the family. It's been a while since I'd last eaten with them. We'd been practicing for the TGC airsoft tournament almost every evening.

I didn't remember falling asleep in the car, but I must've because next I knew, Matsuoka was pulling up to the Sunshine Residence. "This the right place?" He called to me, looking into the rearview mirror. She looked so sweet with her long eyelashes brushing her cheeks as she slept. He shook his head swiftly, He. Come on Masamune. He. Yuri is a man.

Yukimura, who sat in the passenger seat of Matsuoka's sedan, pressed his face against the glass. "Wowww. Tachibana-kun lives in a castle…" He turned slyly in his perverted sort of way, "Forget dressing like a prince though, I bet if you dressed like a princess you'd be ten times cuter!" He leanded over the passenger seat to pinch my cheek.

"Ow, hey!" I said slapping his hand away. Him and his cross dressing. He withdrew his hand quickly, pouting and looking offended. I rolled my eyes and Matsuoka and I exchanged a concerned look as we collectively decided to pretend that Yukimura hadn't said anything to begin with.

Once they had dropped me off, and not before leaving, my many brothers swarmed the two inviting them to stay for dinner. I quickly mouthed words to Matsuoka. "No. Go. Say you have something else to do." Ukyo looked at me suspiciously as I kept mouthing the words over the sea of my brothers' heads.

"No. I have to go." Matsuoka hummed politely. The words glided off his tongue as he received them from me. Just like the truly experienced host I had seen when we'd first met. "There's something I must tend to. Please excuse me and Yukimura." He bowed slightly in brief apology. "Good night Yuri. We'll see you later." He turned on his heel and held up a hand in farewell as he and Yukimura headed back to his parked sedan.

That went way more smoothly than I had thought. I had to get those two to leave before one of the Asahinas called me Yuri-Chan or Yuu-chan. They didn't know about Toy Gun Gun… And certainly not their rules.

Everyone's staring. I tried to eat my meat and potatoes without looking at them.

"So, airsoft with some friends?" Ukyo asked as he bit into his roasted potato.

"Air soft?!" Yusuke sputtered almost aspirating a green bean.

"Isn't that dangerous? Can't you be seriously injured?" Azusa asked, concerned. He set down his silverware and waited for my response.

"I don't want big sis to get hurt!" Wataru cut in, before I could answer.

"Yeeesss…?" I replied hesitantly. "But Yukimura and Matsuoka are college guys. They're teaching me, and they're really skillful too." I stopped there; I didn't want to explain how I'd met the two. I scoffed at the memory of the host club in shambles after Matsuoka and I had our duel. "And it's not too dangerous, we wear safety gear." My hand went instinctively to my rib cage. But sometimes the stupid armor doesn't shield like it's suppose to.

"But as a young woman, being with a crowd of men~" I glared at Hikaru as he tried to stir up something rambunctious.

Yusuke stood up abruptly, his face flushed as red as his hair. Hikaru grinned slyly.

This was going to get out of hand fast… "No, no! With my boyish haircut and style… They… They kind of actually have no idea I'm a girl..."

At this point, the food was forgotten and they all looked at me.

"It's ugly. Your style has been horrendous since you started hanging out with Matsuoka-san and Yukimura-san. You looked so much better when you dressed like a girl," Futo said harshly, poking his potatoes around his plate.

Masaomi entered the conversation with a serious tone to his voice, "You've been friends with them for months though, right?… You don't have to answer, but why are you hiding?"

"Rules." I whispered. I had lost my appetite. "I'm not so hungry," I said, "but thanks for the food tonight."

I slipped away to my room where I tossed my vest and long cargo pants off for loose pajama shorts. I swiped my thermal up to my ribs to examine the damage. A purplish bead had blossomed to claim some of my pale flesh. An array of yellow beads scattered my stomach, and I could see some in the mirror on my back. The old shots are finally healing up. I ought to get better at playing this damn game, otherwise, I'll look like a pincushion forever. Sighing, I flipped my mini fridge open and grabbed the ice pack and gauze I left out of habit on the top shelf. Using my chin to hold my shirt up, I wrapped my ribs, securing the cold pack in between folds of gauze. When I was done, I swapped my long sleeve thermal for a loose fitting tank top- the only shirt that could fit an ice pack beneath without being extremely obvious. I clipped my bangs to the side, revealing my forest green eyes. There's my face. Haven't seen it in a while. "Eh, what's with the whole vanity of looking like a girl anyways?" I whispered to myself. "Such a tiresome thing anyway."

I plopped down onto my futon couch, folding my legs beneath me and snagged Catcher and the Rye from the coffee table. Holden Caulfield is the greatest… It must've been a couple of hours since I had sat down, and when I looked up, my clock displayed 22:30 in blocky font. Makes sense, I almost finished it. I thought flipping through the thin novel. Again. Satisfied with my progress, I got up.

Well.

Tried to.

My legs had fallen asleep and I came crashing down on the floor with record speed. My ribs moaned in pain and my hand shot to my mouth to stifle the imminent scream.

A knock padded my door. "Are you okay in there, Yuri?" A voice came through the door. "I heard a thud."

"I'm fine!" I screeched, noticing I had left the door unlocked, "Just fell, no biggy!" Don't come in. Don't come in. I prayed. "My legs just need to wake up. They fell asleep."

"Oh… Okay." The voice rang through the wood door. Which brother was it?

It fell silent.

"Hey Yuri, I actually needed to talk to you about something anyways. Can I come in?"

Who is it? I should've asked that to begin with. I haven't been living here long, but I should know them by voice by now… I cursed my bad memory.

"Fine, but you have to promise you won't laugh," I said, slapping my feet as I tried to get the blood flowing again.

"Sure… I promise."

The door swung open and Tsubaki walked it. I felt like the need to shade my eyes as his handsome face sparkled in my room light. His long strides closed the distance between him and I until he was standing above me. Damn, he sparkles like a pop star.

He giggled, covering his mouth with a slender hand, as if he could catch his laugh. "Sorry, I couldn't help it."

I must've looked ridiculous sprawled on the carpet like that. "Tsuuuubaki, you promised!" I said slapping his ankle. I could feel an embarrassed blush creep to my cheeks.

Before I knew it, he was so close. His arms scooped me up. I clung to his neck like a startled monkey. "W-What are you doing? Put me down!"

He flopped me onto my bed and chuckled.

"So…" I said regaining my composure, "What was it that you needed to talk to me about? It couldn't wait til morning?" I asked, propping myself up on my elbows, curious.

He was hesitant and his violet eyes dodged mine. "Those guys…"

"Who? Masamune and Yukimura?" Did I just call Matsuoka by his first name? Where'd that come from?

"Oh… so I guess you are close with him." He turned now to face me fully, his fist clenching by his side. "Do you like him back?"

"Like him back?" I asked, hopping off the bed to approach him. "He doesn't even know I'm a girl!" I paused, "Is this actually what you came to talk about?"

His platinum hair was nothing but a flurry as he caught me by my wrists, pinning me to the wall. I stifled my gasp as my recovering back screamed at the slightest touch.

"You're so oblivious." He refused my gaze again, "I'm sure he's no different than us. We're crazy about you. I'm crazy about you." He said running a hand along my cheek. "Why can't you see that you're so desirable?" He leaned closer, pinning me with his own body now.

He'll feel the ice pack if he gets any closer. His warm lips breathing into mine stopped me in my tracks, my hands frozen on his shoulders where I was going to push him away. They had forgotten what to do.

He stopped just short before our lips could touch. "What's this? Don't tell me you've been smuggling those ice candies up here." Tsubaki quickly pulled away, feeling the cold of my stomach when he'd leaned in..

I shook my head. "No, no, I haven't." I said guilty. I had done that in the past. Probably will in the future, but not today… Those frozen sweet cakes filled with ice cream are the best!

"Oh yeah? Then what's this?" He yanked my shirt up, anticipating the little desserts spilling out from my custom-made-dessert-holding-undershirt that I had made myself.

Nooooo!

He stopped cold in his tracks when no desserts came. I knew his eyes were soaking in the purple and yellow dots carved in my skin.

"What are these?" His voice cracked as his fingers glided gently across my abdomen. "What happened?"

I squirmed at his touch. "Enough." I said, swiping my tank top back down. "I'm just bad at airsoft!" I forced a smile.

His shimmering eyes went wide. "Hey. What were those." It was hardly a question. "He let you get hurt…"

"No, no, no they didn't." I said, "I'm not going to stop playing, either. You can't convince me," I pushed Tsubaki towards the door. "No one can, actually. Airsoft is incredibly fun!" I said with a smile with him outside of my door. "Now, good night!" I shut the door before he could let himself back in.

"What were you doing in her room at this hour?"

"Azusa?"

"Why were you alone in her room?" the raven haired twin pried, gripping his script tightly in his hand. "You didn't do anything, did you?"

"Don't worry about me. Save your ridiculous questions for that Matsuoka guy." He shot back, violet eyes blazing.
