It was another sunny afternoon in Middleton, and teen hero Kim Possible was working alongside with her best friend, Monique Coleman at Club Banana, inside the Middleton Mall. While she and Monique were stacking clothes, Kim happily hummed to herself, seemingly content.
Monique was a little creeped out by Kim's over happy demeanor. "Not that I don't like it, but why are you so giddy today, girl?" Monique asked.
"It's been two weeks and so far, no bad guys have caused any trouble for me and Ron. A new record." Kim said with a smile, which made Monique smile back.
"Enjoy it while it last Kim." Monique said, making Kim sigh.
"I know. I know. Sooner or later, the other shoe is gonna drop." Kim said, knowing that a mission will appear on her radar screen real soon. She hoped that it could wait at least one more week.
"Speaking of shoes..." A familiar voice rang out. That voice belonged to Kim and Monique's friend, Tara Knight. She was beaming with joy as she entered Club Banana, sporting brand new high heel shoes. "I just got these at Gucchi My Boochi! They were half priced!"
Kim and Monique squealed with Tara over the sigh of them. "Girlfriend, those heels are so mmm mmm mmm good!" Monique exclaimed.
"Thanks." Tara said as she blushed lightly. "Me and Josh Makney are having a little sleepover at his place tonight while his parents are gone." Kim and Monique gasped at that. "So, I want the perfect outfit to set tonight's mood."
"Well, you came to the right place Tara. Let me see what I can find..." Kim said with a smile as she lead Tara to the lingerie aisle, trying to find something both romantic and naughty.
"So, how you and Ron doing?" Tara asked curiously about Kim's boyfriend and sidekick, Ron Stoppable.
"He's doing great. He and Rufus are actually staying at my place while his folks are out of town." Kim said as she picked out a white one piece she was sure Tara would like. "Would this do?"
"It's perfect!" Tara squealed, hugging her friend tightly. "Thanks Kim."
"I'll ring you up." Monique said as she walked Tara to the register. Then, another familiar voice rang out.
"Hey K. A little service." Kim sighed as she knew that voice belonged to her fellow cheer squad member and frenemy, Bonnie Rockwaller.
"Hi Bonnie." Kim said, offering her best and friendly smile. Luckily for Kim, Bonnie was in a pleasant mood today. Hopefully due to her finding a new boyfriend just last week during Homecoming. "What can I help you with?"
"Well, Junior invited me to his island home in Barbados, and I want a super cute and totally hot bikini that won't give me tan lines." Bonnie explained. Kim could have made any kind of insult based on that, but decided to be friendly to her fellow cheerleader.
"Let me see what we have..." Kim said with a smile, but before she could direct Bonnie to the swimsuit aisle, Kim and Monique's manager Ms. Randall came out of her office.
"Sorry girls, but you might wanna wrap up what you're doing. We're closing early." Randall announced to the disappointment of the girls.
"But why?" Monique asked.
"Apparently a severe thunder storm is coming to Middleton tonight, so we're closing everything in the mall just to be safe." Randall explained. "Kim, Monique, don't worry about it. I'll lock up. Just go home and stay safe."
"Thanks Ms. Randall. See you tomorrow." Kim said as she, Monique, Bonnie, and Tara walked out of the store and out into the courtyard of the mall where the whole place was preparing to lock down for the incoming storm. As soon as the girls stepped outside, they saw the sky darkened and the wind starting to pick up. "Well, they got the severe part right. We better get home. Tara, Monique, would you like me to give you a ride?"
"No thanks Kim. I'll be fine." Tara said with a smile.
"Actually my folks are out of town. Could you give me a ride to Wade's?" Monique asked, causing Kim\s eyes to widen.
"You're gonna spend the night with Wade?" Kim asked.
"It'll be fine. I'm just lucky he destroyed his Cupid ray thingy." Monique said, remembering what happened on Valentines Day. Then, a helicopter appeared overhead.
"Well, my ride's here. I'm off to Barbados! See ya girls later!" Bonnie said with a smile as Kim and Monique hopped into the sloth, Tara hopped into her car, and Bonnie boarded the Senior's helicopter on their way to their respective destinations, not knowing the next few days after the storm were about to get a little weirder.
