Appearances
"What happened now?"
"Oh, nothing. Ron was just suggesting we take a trip over the summer but I don't know, Rose is still so little, I don't want to disrupt her routine until she's a little older and can adjust quicker."
"She's nearly nine months, Hermione, she'll do fine!"
"Really?"
"Yes, I was concerned for James when Harry took us away for our anniversary but he was just perfect and adjusted so fast and he was only seven months then."
"Man, you guys have it so easy! We're only just getting the hang on parenting and you two have mastered it."
Ginny laughed, "No ways! We still make silly mistakes every now and then. It's mainly discipline. We both have such different views on how to teach the boys, especially because of how different our upbringing was. I'm stricter and Harry's a big softy. But it's a learning curve; we're slowly getting there and agreeing more on how to teach James and Al. You and Ron will learn faster and agree easier because you are both very protective of Rosie and because she's a girl. Boys are terrors, girls, we handle with care. It'll come."
"Agh, I wish things were perfect in our house like they are in yours."
"They're not perfect. Your house functions just fine." Ginny smiled
"It would appear so."
"Appearances can be deceiving." Ginny muttered
"What do you mean?"
"It's nothing, just overreacting."
"What's going on, Ginny?" said in a stronger voice
"Harry and I have been arguing so much lately," she spits in frustration "Never in front of the boys, but it's just so awful! It's as if we can never reach an agreement on anything! And I mean anything! We had this stupid argument on how to fold the towels to put them in the cupboard!"
"Why are you arguing so much?" Hermione asked, resting her hand on Ginny's forearm
"I don't know, we just getting under each other's skin. I think with two kids our stress level has just sky rocketed and we're driving each other crazy."
"Maybe you need to give us the boys for a few nights so you two can be alone and try to work it out."
"I don't know, Al is only ten months, I don't want to leave him so soon."
"It's just for a few nights and it's not as if you're going to Japan! Let us help you guys, please."
"You think you can handle three children for a few nights?" Ginny giggled
"Yeah, it might be good practice for when Ron and I have another baby."
"I suggest you don't say that to Ron, he might have a heart attack."
Hermione just laughed
End
A/N: Just a little one...I didn't want to make it big or anything...I just liked the idea of a difficult pat to climb over.
