Love and Shoes

Two pairs of shoes walked alongside each other: a pair of white trainers and a pair of pink high heels.
One made a soft padding against the concrete, the other, a rather loud tapping, both in contrast with the other.
The shoes represented their owners, respectively.
The trainers resembled a man, comfortable with his appearance, fashionable, yet older than he looked.
Likewise the bright pink shoes resembled a woman, not afraid to look pretty, innocent, yet bound to have a good time wherever she went.
And so the shoes walked together, side by side, so different, yet so very alike.
