Terra's Story

Her name was Terra.
She did many horrible things. She spied on Titans Tower and went to Slade, betraying our trust.
She hurt all of us, all in a different way. I think Robin didn't get as much impact as the rest of us, because they weren't really all that close. But to the rest of us, it hurt – especially for Beast Boy.
I didn't trust her at all, so when the others made her a Titan, I was very unsatisfied.
What was she, an outsider, doing, invading my life and taking my friends? Did she go through the same hardship we did? Everyone else had to work for acceptance, but she just waltzed right into our home and everything was just dandy for her? I thought not.
And so, I hated her.
But then, I eventually warmed up to her, even trusting her just as much as the others. I thought she understood me, thought that she was that one that would be able to eventually become my best friend.
Although she betrayed us, and was eventually forced to battle by Slade, she managed to control her powers again at the most critical moment, killing Slade instead. Unfortunately, she kick-started the volcano we were in, and everything, if it hadn't been for her, would have been covered in lava.
She turned to stone herself, in the end.
That is the legend of Terra, the sixth Titan.
Now, hear the untold part of the story. She was actually from an alternate timeline of the future. In that timeline, Robin was her father, and his team was our future selves. Robin, Cyborg, Starfire, Beast Boy and I, Titans still.
Unfortunately, in that timeline, Starfire, Terra's mother, died in a terrible accident during a massive attack by Ternion, and with her, Terra's younger sibling, still in her womb.
Devastated, Robin began to blame everything on himself. He threw himself into his work, training every day to become stronger as to never let that happen to Terra. He also made Terra train every single day, never cutting her any more slack than he did with us. Terra even had to striv the extra mile, just because she was his daughter.
Terra became a lonely child, and, in an attempt to have her father notice her, won battle after battle, hoping to achieve her father's hopes for her.
But she was never good enough. Robin barely gave her the slightest of glances, merely a "Congrats, kiddo," here and there, and when she lost, he simply said, "Too bad, better luck next time," and went away to do his work.
Terra was unhappy, and decided to travel back in time to the time when her mother died. Not knowing how to control the time machine, she accidentally punched in the wrong date, and ended up stranded in the middle of a desert.
She tried to find her way around, but monsters kept chasing her. After a while, we came around to help her out, and she decided that she'd show off a bit and see if the former Titans were impressed with her skills, unlike her father.
When she joined Slade, it was because of the hatred she had towards Beast Boy for telling Robin, her future father, about her weak point. Forgetting that Robin and her father were not the same, she fled, and Slade took her in, weaving tales of control and recognition for her acts.
She was turned to stone in her quest for approval.
Her name was Terra.
She did many horrible things, but it was all in hope of her father's acceptance.
All she ever wanted was her father back.
But now, she'll never get her wish.
Robin, I hope you feel guilty.

The line that inspired me was simple and mentioned briefly. "I'm never good enough for you, am I?"
It was short, but it just goes to show that strange things can happen with an over-active imagination.
