Larry was laying on the grass outside his home in the Mushroom Kingdom. The warm sun shining down on his face, bored out of his mind. "What is there to do around here?" he thought to himself. He got up and looked around. The day was a bright, warm Spring day. He walked around outside his home trying to come up with something. "The place looks a bit plain," He said aloud to himself. Looking at the front, he got an idea.
He left his house and made way to the floral shop. He walked in and went straight to the flower seeds. Picking through them he found several that he liked though making sure they would grow this year. He also found some tools, peat moss, top soil and fertilizer he would need to get the job done well. Excited he purchased the seeds and the tools, then headed home.
At the front of his home, he took the tools and began to tear up the lawn in the front under the windows. Happily, he applied the peat moss, fertilizer and top soil mixing it well while singing a catchy tune in his head. He placed the seeds in the soil and watered them. He checked on the plants daily and watered them as needed. For weeks, he worked hard until they finally grew. Larry inspected his work, he admired the flowers that grew, their colour and beauty really brightened the home, bringing joy to his sweet, little heart.
