The Deralian
The Prologue
In the aftermath of the battle of Tython, the Jedi Council was left with an unprecedented result. The Dark Lord of the Sith had in fact been captured, albeit being grievously injured both physically and mentally in the process. It did not however turn the tide of the war in favor for the Republic, far from it.
Darth Malak, assuming the title of Dark Lord of the Sith upon the death of his master, unleashing his seemingly infinite Sith fleet, launched a swift and brutal series of raids on key trade systems in the Mid-Rim territories of Republic space. With these systems pleading for military aid and with the Republic military all but lost without Jedi leadership, the Council was galvanized into making a desperate and risky last minute decision.
The Jedi Council went about purging the remnants of Dark Lord Revan's mind and overwriting his personality, replacing them with a new identity. One they would have control over with relative ease. It was decided that the template of their artificial identity would behave and act as Revan would have, had he never been taken from Deralia to be trained as a Jedi.
Despite having the majority of the Council members absent in this process, being needed to organize the Republic forces to repel Malak's offensive, those Council members who remained in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant hastily went about constructing their new Deralian Revan.
Upon the completion Revan's reprogramming, the Jedi Council requisitioned the use of a newly constructed Hammerhead-class cruiser, The Endar Spire. Jedi Padawan Bastila Shan was placed in de-facto command of the vessel while overseeing the last minute transfer of "The Deralian" to the Spire's crew manifest. With these arrangements made, the cruiser was then sent on a reconnaissance mission to one of the last Republic held systems in the Outer-Rim, the rapidly decaying planet wide metropolis-world of Taris.
All the Jedi Masters could do in the meantime was to trust in the Force, meditating on the fact that the fate of the galaxy would be resting on the shoulders of one man, one scout, one Deralian.

Captain's Note: Other than these few "qualifications", there isn't anything else that distinguishes him from any of the other crewmen on board the Endar Spire. Well, technically he isn't even listed as Republic Naval personnel. I don't know where the Jedi Order got off, placing a civilian on a brand new Republic warship. But he seems like a solid enough kid. So unless there is some type of catastrophic event awaiting the Endar Spire, there should be no problem with this… Deralian.
