Watching Persona 4: The Animation, made me fall in love with these two as a couple :)

Paper Cranes

He watched as she gently folded the magazine covers into a not-so-graceful crane.

"You suck."

"That hurts!" she pouted but then had to chuckle when he placed a chibi version behind her attempt of origami. "It's so cute!"

"Is it?"

She looked at him and laughed nearly silently. "Yes... I... Narukami-kun..."

"What is it?" The silverhead asked.

"Nothing... ehm... can I call you Yu? It's easier to remember."

"Of course, as long as I can call you Rise..."

"Deal!" a real smile showed itself on her face. "Through I do think you are older than me, so shouldn't it be Senpai?"

"Should it?" Yu asked with that air of indifference Rise could get used to. She giggled again as she ripped out another page and began making her next origami, this time something remotely resembling a turtle. "Oh, you are right... I do seem to suck at making origami..."

"It's fine, it's a part of the real Rise, after all."

His words made her flush slightly but it thankfully vanished by the time the others found them. Rise Kujikawa didn't blush that easily, for God's sake!

"Narukami-kun."

Yu looked up from the path he was looking at when Yukiko adressed him. He send her a questioning look as she stared back at him in question, clearly curious but also confused.

"Did you walk Rise-chan home?"

"Yes." Yu answered bluntly. "It felt like the right thing to do..."

"Why does Yu always get all the ladies?" Yosuke complained, causing Chie to hit his head with her fist as she sighed, clearly annoyed with him. Yu had to laugh quietly as she answered him.

"Because Narukami-kun has class, unlike you!"

The rest of the way to Dojima's house - Yu guessed he should call it 'home' for now - was spent with Chie and Yosuke arguing, Kanji ignoring everything in slight embrassment and Yukiko giggling over something that she must have thought of the arguing duo.

As for Yu himself, his worry hadn't left even after Rise had crossed her family home's threshold.
