It's supposed to just be a routine mission. Tony had chuckled when he'd heard that he was being called in to deal with an issue involving meatballs raining from the sky. Meatballs did not form in the sky - let alone "rain"; that was just not possible.
Still, he decided to go out and humor the person on the other end of the phone - but the first time a meatball leaves a sticky mess of spaghetti sauce on his (just cleaned) metal suit, Iron Man wonders if it's about time to quit the superhero business, cause he's just about seen it all.
