Senator Organa sat quietly at his desk, his hands folded very neatly in front of him. He had watched Imperial ships land upon the front stoop of his home. He knew that this was a visit that he was not going to enjoy. Regardless, he had to remain calm, he would play his cards right, and hopefully, this would be over quickly.

He glanced over at eight-year-old Leia watching the aquatic creatures swim in the large tank that he had purchased so that whenever he had to bring her here, she would be well-occupied. Having her there made him feel a little bit better, even though he doubted the Imperial troops would exercise restraint just because there was a child present.

The door to his office opened, Darth Vader entered with two officers. Senator Organa made no motion to stand up and greet them. Knowing of Darth Vader's reputation, that was something he would not appreciate. Instead, he remained perfectly still with his eyes fixed straight ahead at his new guests. Darth Vader and the officers approached him.

"Now, you understand that this is just a routine exercise, correct?" Darth Vader asked.

"But of course, Lord Vader, I guess I just wasn't expecting that you yourself would be part of the operation. With your reputation, and power, this seems beneath your immediate concern," replied Organa, trying to hide the fact that he felt nervous.

"We heard that there might be Rebel spies here, and I just wanted to personally make sure that they were properly taken care of," Vader replied.

"I assure you, none of my family, and no one in my palace staff would have any connection with the Rebellion. We are loyal to the Empire," Organa answered.

"If that is true, then you should have nothing to worry about," said Vader, who then turned in the direction of the fish tank. He walked toward it, as if something about the creatures in the tank interested him.

"Fascinating creatures, swimming ever so freely, not much of a care in the world. Plus, they are not held to the laws of gravity in the manner that we air breathers are," observed Vader.

"I find watching aquatic creatures swim to be a great way to lower blood pressure, my daughter Leia, as I'm sure you can observe, likes them as well," replied Organa. Here, little Leia turned in Darth Vader's direction. It could have been his size, his mask, or the fact that his armor was entirely black, or even a combination of all three; but something about Darth Vader scared Leia enough to jump backwards.

"You have an adorable daughter, Senator," said Vader who then ruffled Leia's hair before leaving with the two officers following him. When they left, Organa finally stood up as Leia rushed to him, even though she was getting a little heavy, he picked his daughter up in his arms.

"He scared me, Daddy," said Leia.

"Don't feel bad, I think he scares everyone," Organa replied.
