My friend and I were texting stories to each other, and I came up with really good(if I do say so my self) oneshots, so I thought I'd post 're different fandoms, so I'll be posting different stories, not chapters in one large story. This one is called Donna.
Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who...yet.
On a bed in an apartment, lay an old woman. She was dying of cancer, and really should have been in a hospital, but refused because she didn't want to die in an unfamiliar place. She knew she was going to die; her cancer was terminal, which is why her stubbornness won out, and she was allowed to stay at home. Her son called up the stairs that there was another doctor to see her. She sighed, but let him show the doctor up anyway. He came in and smiled at her.
"Donna." he said fondly. "My Earth Girl."
She was confused; she'd never seen him before. He walked over to her and placed his hands gently on her temples and his forehead on hers. Suddenly, memories flashed by. Of her, of him, of Pompeii, of Agatha Christie, of the Vashta Nerada, of the T.A.R.D.I.S, and of the fat that walked away. All of the memories she ever had about the Doctor, she remembered. She smiled.
"Doctor."
Then, without another word, she died, peacefully, comforted by the knowledge of who she really is.
"Goodbye, Donna Noble." the Doctor said as he left one of the greatest companions he will ever have.
