My name is Hailey Eclair I live in the Sohma main house with Akito, who I have known since I was little. Speaking of Akito and I, when I was little my family left and I was left all alone, that's when Akito came in. He found me sitting on a bench on the side of the road in the rain and carried me back to his house. He said I looked scared and worried, which I probably did considering that night it was supposed to be a full moon. He picked me up and carried me to the Sohma main house, which I would later call home. When we got to the house I met Hatori, he checked me out and figured out that I had severe lung problems, which I already knew. That first night I slept in a guest bedroom, during the night the only thing I remember feeling was confusion, 'Why did he take me here? Did he really care? Why does he care?'. Within the first week there Akito told me the family secret, about the zodiac. In return I explained to him my own family's curse. He seemed surprised by this but still kept me living there. Akito put me in martial arts after realizing how strong I was for a child, there I met Kyo Sohma, the cat. Akito had warned me about him because he was the cat but for some reason I actually found that I liked Kyo. Along with the cat I made friends with the ox of the zodiac,Hatsuharu. He and I became best friends and even were in the same grade in schooling (along with Momiji but he was too happy for my taste).
Days, weeks, months and years passed, Akito and I grew to hate each other. I began to resent him because I did find out how evil he really was. He also began to hate me, he realized I would never follow exactly what he said or ordered me to do. Akito was a lot more expressive with his hate to the point of hitting me or pointing katanas at me.
~Present~
Hatori walked into my room, "Hailey, Akito wants to see you."
"What is it this time?" I replied confused because I was nearly certain I hadn't done anything below his standards today, Hatori left. "Ugh." I fell back on my bed. "What is it this time?" I mutter to myself this time. I got up and started walking to where Akito was usually hibernating. I knocked on the door and heard a voice telling me to come in. "What do you want?" I asked him partially annoyed with just him in general. "I want you to leave." He said blank as ever.
"What?!" I asked horrified.
"You heard me now get out."
"No, I live here too, where will I live?"
"I don't care,out. I brought you here now I'm kicking you out. Leave." He wasn't even facing me and I could still feel him smirk.
"I'm not leaving." He now got up to face me, he had a katana in a pulled it out and stared at me.
"Are you sure?" He swung the katana making a diagonal cut across my chest and shoulder, forcing me to fall to my knees. "Leave, now." I looked up at him, he meant what he said I could tell, but still this was my home. I slowly stood up, then dashed out of the door with the little energy that I had left.
