Kate sat in the apartment once shared with Luke, now dead and Alya who was no longer Kate's friend. Ever since Rana realised she was in love with Kate, their relationship with Alya was now very distant.
Kate felt alone. The apartment was empty and rather cold. She picked up her phone and decided to text Rana. Rana was on a six week cruise with her mum to try and re-build their relationship after the death of her father.
Kate texted:
