She could hear his feet pass her door. He was returning to his work in the basement. She hoped with all her heart that he succeeded tonight. She was so afraid.
Would he finally not need her for support? When he ignore her once again? Will she be allowed to leave that dark bedroom?
She finally fell asleep with no intrusion so far. She rolled over and opened her eyes. He was watching her silently. She wanted to scream but it was caught in the middle of her throat.
Why her? Why must he love her so much? Why couldn't he ignore her again?
He walked over to her. He towered over her. He yanked off her cover. The air was cold. As was he hands that reached over her body.
He was angry and tired he told her. He told her he loved her so much. Told her that the world would change soon, if only he could succeed. He demanded her to give herself to him once again. He needed her love, her tears, her screams. He wanted all of her. He whispered her name softly and huskily in her ear as he continue to hurt her.
She didn't refuse him. Not again. She didn't want to hurt too much. Maybe if she was good he let her go outside for a little. To see Rini. She needed and wanted someone to save her from him, from this room.
He took want he wanted from her and left back to his work. She cried. She was alone, hurt and scared.
Why must she endure so much pain for such a man? Why must the world be so cruel? Did God abandon her? Or was its man vindictive punishment upon her?
She wanted to fight back to resist him. But there would be too much pain and she wouldn't see Rini. She wanted Rini. She wanted Rini to save her from that monster. The merciless devil who loved her so much, who needed her for his own sick confidence. She wanted a different life. A different world.
