Kim's Pov.
"Come on Jerry please don't give up on me now." I looked around to see if there was any berries to make Jerry the medicine that he needed to survive. I found some, but I didn't want to make the same mistake I did with Jack. "Jack?" I yelled out hoping he would hear me; so he could help me make the medicine for Jerry. "Jack!" I yelled once again with more tears running down my cheeks. I looked down at Jerry who now was coughing harder. "Kim." Then he coughed once again. "Jerry please don't leave me." I said while hugging him. "Kim listen to me unless Jack isn't here you can't help me but remember what mom and dad told us kids that someday our time would come." He coughed once more. "Jerry don't worry we'll help you." I said looking around to see if Jack was around. "Jack! Help please I need you." I yelled. "I'm coming as fast as I can Kim" I could tell that was Jack, and he had made the medicine. He was coughing too, but not like Jerry. "Jack" I ran to him gave him a hug and asked what took so long and why was he wet. He told me everything and he saw the people that were looking for us. "Well let's just give Jerry the medicine and we will start running." I said. I carried the map and Jack and Jerry were walking. We stopped for a drink of water at a pond. Jack had to give Jerry his water I could tell that they were both in bad shape, mostly Jerry. Then we heard a snap of a twig. We quickly hid behind an old oak tree. They were here… I heard them talking. Jack pointed to go ahead. I didn't want to leave him and Jerry alone though. They were getting closer. Then Jack yelled "RUN!"
Yes, yes I know I know very short but I wanted you guys to understand it a little bit and get excited! :D So I hope you guys do like this story as much as I will enjoy writing it… remember the chapters are longer… this is only the preview :)
