(This is a one shot Koga and Kagome Fan fiction, and it's a fic request I normally don't do them but I will, this fic is for arashi wolf princess- Happy Birthday. And it's a song fan fiction inspired by Tim McGraw: Don't take the girl: I own nothing except the plot::::: Read and Review!)

An older man by the name of Koga Tunko, was sitting in his bed, glancing at the clock beside the nightstand seeing that it was 2:00 a.m. He then looked over to his right and saw, as always sleeping soundly next to him, was his beautiful wife Kagome of 15 years and two children.

Just how did they meet? As Koga had remembered it as if it were yesterday, taking out his ipod touch and as always the one song that was paused for his listening pleasure: Tim McGraw's Song Don't take the girl…. He hit play… The man then went down good old memory lane, always at this time whenever he couldn't sleep.

Koga had remembered when he was an eight year old boy as the song began to play… and his future wife, Kagome Tunko an eight year old girl…

Eight year old Koga and Kagome and Koga's father were sitting on a pier fishing,

As the song continued...

Teen Koga saw Kagome, the girl, get throw into a wall, after he had given her a backhand; and a gun to her heart…

As the gunman had his weapon trained on Kagome's scared and shaken form...

Koga then gathered a scared Kagome to him holding her tightly, as the stranger ran off…

When the song was playing Koga remembered his and Kagome's wedding and then a few years later, he then, smiled softly and sadly as the tears formed in his eyes, remembered the day that he was going to be a father…

But then, the doctor told the husband of Kagome that she may not make it through the night, at the moment Koga then collapsed with tears streaming down his face praying hard, at his wife's hospital bed, for both his son and his girl…

Koga then looked up at the sky to where Heavenly father was, with his hands on his heart.. Tears flowed freely ''Take my breath that I'm breathing, God I'd rip out my own heart to save her! Please, God, Not my girl, not my Kagome.'' He had cried out while on his hands and knees by her bedside…

As the song ended, Koga remembered when he and Kagome were chasing their son- that was eight years old, both parents were smiling; both were wearing red plaid and blue jeans going fishing…

As Koga had came out of his memory/day dream, that song always made him cry, that song was and still is so powerful; he nearly lost her. And that thought alone scared the hell outta him, his day dreaming was cut short upon feeling a small hand hold his, he had looked at the owner of the hand and smiled.

Kagome was wide awake, and smiling at him, and moved over to him and laid her head on his lap. As Koga removed the earphones that he had used as not to wake up his beautiful wife, as their eyes had made connected.

Still after these years, their eyes had reflected love only for each other, ''I love you, Koga.'' She had whispered to her only true love, to which more tears had wafted down his already crying features.

As Koga smiled through his tears of happiness and sadness, ''I love you, Kagome, I will always love you until my dying day…'' Wrapping his arm around her tighter, Koga was surprised how much he loved her and will always love her.

(End, read and review, I normally don't do request fics, if I'm familiar with the fic that you want I can do; if I'm not that familiar with it I will research it and do my best!)
