Terezi trembled slightly. She didn't know where she was or how she got there. She couldn't see, which was normal, but she couldn't smell anything, or taste anything, even her entire body was numb. She couldn't even feel herself trembling. All she could do was listen, to a faint dripping sound somewhere in the room.

She figured she must be lying on her back on the floor somewhere in the lab. But she couldn't think of a reason for the dripping, and all of her thoughts were fuzzy. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't remember what happened to put her here. Had she been attacked?

She didn't know how long she had been lying there, thoughts getting duller and fuzzier by the second, and that repetitive dripping bothering her, before there was finally a new sound. Footsteps suddenly came into existence on the far side of the room, sounding loud and angry. Even in her weak, confused state she still instantly knew it was Karkat. And he was probably mad about some tiny little thing again.

She listened to them for a long time, and as they slowly grew closer she realized she must actually be in her own room, since the footsteps had been stomping up stairs toward her for a while. She let her mind grow fuzzy again, the footsteps and dripping blending together into a perpetual, repetitive buzzing in the background. She couldn't focus on anything, and was starting to feel herself slipping into unconsciousness.

She dully wondered what would happen to her, or everyone else. Was the numb and completely blind feeling she was having permanent? Would she die here? What happened to her? Was anyone else in a similar predicament? Questions rolled around repeatedly in her fuzzy mind.

Terezi came back into focus slightly when the footsteps suddenly stopped nearby. A couple of seconds passed before she heard a soft whisper, "... Terezi..?"

She couldn't answer. She couldn't move. Karkat moved closer, his footsteps sounding slow and unsure, and a faint splashing sound could be heard whenever he took a step. When he reached her she heard him gasp. "Terezi?!"

She tried to mumble something to him, but she still couldn't move or make any sound. She faintly felt herself move, and realized he must've moved her to hold her. "Terezi say something!" she heard through a muffled sob.

"Ergh... Kar... kat..?" She was able to choke out.

"Terezi! Just hold on... You'll... You'll be okay..." He sobbed.

"What's... Wrong..?" She managed to ask.

"You don't know? Terezi, you're bleeding everywhere!" He yelled, shocked she didn't know. "You're in a huge puddle of your own blood..."

Well that explained why she felt so weak and fuzzy, she thought. And the dripping, that must be her blood dripping down the stairs.

She stopped trembling. "Karkat." She whispered. "I'm not going to be alright."

"WHAT?" He yelled. "Terezi don't say that!"

"It's true... And you know it... Idiot." She was cutting in and out of consciousness now. "Karkat, I don't know... Who did this to me. But promise me something."

"Anything." He was sobbing again.

"Whoever did this... Don't let them get you too." Her eyes started to slide closed.

"Terezi... Terezi?" He started to panic. "TEREZI!"

She smiled softly for the last time. "Goodbye Karkat." she said before losing consciousness forever.

"TEREZI!" Karkat broke down completely, red tears streaming down his face. "No..."

She was gone, it was probably his fault, and he couldn't help her when she needed him. The sound of his sobs drowned out the faint honk that came from the other side of the room...
