A/N: I'm not sure where this came from, but it just popped into my head. By the way, "Kurenai" means "crimson" and "Yuhi" means "evening sun". (Well I don't know Japanese, that's what I'm assuming from internet sources.) Please review!!
The last things Asuma saw before giving out were red eyes.
Dark, beautiful, strong eyes.
Asuma couldn't help but think about those eyes.
He had seen many spectacular things in his life, but none could compare to her eyes.
They looked at him in many different ways, but love was always present.
Asuma hoped that he wasn't worth crying over, because he couldn't bear to think about those red eyes filling with tears.
Asuma wanted to remember her in moments of true passion.
He remembered romantic moments, where he knew he was the only thing in her eyes.
He remembered intense moments, where her eyes would focus only on the opponent.
He remembered sad moments, where her eyes would only stare blankly, not taking anything in.
But most of all, he remembered stolen moments, where her eyes would be free.
That freedom was what Asuma was going to miss the most.
In the distance he could see the sun beginning to set, blood red in all its glory.
As his vision blurred, two crimson suns appeared, offering him a last chance to get lost in the eyes of the one he loved most.
And then everything was dark.
