"Let's take it from the top, then." Murdoc growled.
Currently, he and Noodle sat in Kong's home studio, and the bassist was attempting to teach her the guitar part for their song 5/4. He had an acoustic guitar slung over his back, and was facing noodle with her Les Paul gripped firmly in her hands.
"What is this, take 47?" he said with an eye roll. Murdoc began to play the song's opening riff. After playing it twice, he nodded to the girl, and she began to play along with him, the guitars keeping in sync properly. Murdoc slightly smiled.
"Magic for me," the bassist growled in his trademark fashion. "Magic make no sound. It good for me. It good for me underground." Noodle internally was thankful Murdoc wasn't the lead singer of the band. "It make my heart beat no sound, beat no sound, beat no sound, beat no sound.." Murdoc mouthed "Oooh, oooh ooooh!" to the girl, and she copied him.
She repeated her line, on cue. Murdoc finally growled, "She made me kill myself... Come on!" and shifted up to drone on G, Noodle following him. Murdoc mouthed to her, and she said in her clearest singing voice, "She turned my dad on!" Murdoc smirked, her innocent look proving she had no idea what she was singing. "She turned my dad on, dad on, DAD ON!"
Murdoc and Noodle didn't miss a beat but he yelled above the music, "You've got it!" After playing the intro twice, he slammed his cuban heel on the ground, making a loud bang, imitating Russel's drumming. After playing the riff once more, he and the girl muted their guitars in sync, representing where the keyboard bit would come in.
"That didn't sound half bad, kid."
