A/N: Crown of thorns is a cruel parody of "Savior of the World" and it also symbolizes the fall of men. I use the "fall of men" here in the context that humans in Psycho-Pass era seem to lack value as a being in Shogo's perspective.
Also, there is no religious belief in Psycho-Pass world and the only thing people in that era seem to have 'faith' in the Sibyl system so it is kind of safe to say it is more or less their equivalent of God.
