(A/N): Nineteenth request from the ABC meme on LiveJournal.

1. Pick a letter.
2. Pick a prompt that starts with that letter (ex. K is for Keyhole)
3. Pick a fandom / comic / webcomic and a character/pairing.

Leave them in a comment and I'll write a drabble of it. No repeats in letters.

See my profile for what fandoms I'll write.

L- Love // Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's // Rua x Ruka familial bonding.

Pure fluff.

Enjoy!

L is for Love

They had been together for as long as they could remember.

From tots in the cradle, to toddlers wandering the house, to little children living alone in their luxury home in Tops, they had been together. Always.

As brother and sister, they bickered, as brothers and sisters oft do. She would often chide her brother for his rashness, his loud mouth, the way he acted before thinking, the way he let himself get ahead of himself. He would always moan about how boring she'd act, her always staying indoors, how she always beat him at things.

But really, they wouldn't have their sibling any other way. Rua was Rua, and Ruka was Ruka. It would be strange to think of them as somebody else entirely.

Ruka brought a sense of order to the house. Because of her, things were neat, things got done.

Rua brought a liveliness to the house, something that the sicker of the two twins enjoyed immensely. With him, the house was never boring, and considering that the two stayed inside it practically all the time, it was a blessing.

Rua resented his sister for being so sick. Because of her, he couldn't go outside to play as often as he liked. But, whenever she was seriously ill, he was the first at her bedside, tending to her until she was better.

Ruka resented her brother for being so lively. Because of his antics, she was constantly reminded of her frail body. But, whenever he got one of his schemes in mind, she was always behind him, encouraging him and supporting him (even if she thought the idea was idiotic-although in that case her encouragement came in the form of berating).

They both knew each other inside and out, knew their strengths and weaknesses, virtues and flaws, good and bad. And they accepted each other the way they were.

They were brother and sister, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

(A/N): Be careful when requesting. I got a load of requests during chat last night, so there are actually very few letters available. I'll be updating around ten to eleven stories at various intervals over today, and possibly tomorrow if I don't finish them all today. Check my LJ post for a more up-to-date list.

Review, pretty please?
