Books.

Books were made for someone to temporarily escaped reality. Books could carry you any where in the world you wanted to go and even some places that didn't exist. Books could teach you thing or tell you about the past. Books may not actually be magic. But to Loki they might as well be. They taught him magic, and they took him away from the world he lived in. A world of shadows and darkness, living backstage to his brothers greatness. Loki never understood why everyone seemed to love Thor more than they loved him, except his mother of course. Loki smiled, His mother, Frigga was the only one he knew truly cared for him. Anytime he would pull a prank so that he could get some attention his mother always knew what it meant and made sure to find out what was bothering him or played with him when he was lonley. Loki didn't get lonely much anymore, he had grown used to being alone and found it peaceful and quite enjoyable. Especially when he was in the library alone. Loki spent most of his teen and young adult years in the library reading, and learning while his brother Thor was off with Sif and The Warriors Three training to fight. And here his is in the library again. Alone. Everyday he grew more and more tired of being alone. Like I said he used to never be bothered by being alone but ever since he met her... things have been different. She was so hyper and full of life, always getting into something that it made him realize he didn't want to be alone anymore. Yes, Loki son of Laufy was in love with midgardian brunette, Dacry Lewis. She seemed to understand him in a way no one else ever had. She thought his Jotun form was 'freaking amazing' and she wasn' scared of him. Dacry had started working for S.H.E.I.L.D. and was assigned the task of watcing him and seeing if she could get anything out of. But she was back on Midgard now. Far, far away from him and not evem his beloved books could take him out of the world of heartbreak that he was in without her.
