Secretly yours…

Blood poured down like rain, not constantly but it was as if it was sprinkling. It speckled her face as she hid in the shadows watching her friend's demise. Her blonde hair stained red by his blood. A tear slipped down her check and then she burst into action. She did a flip from the tree above and kicked his attacker in the temporal lobe and shoved a kunai into his chest. She rushed to his aid and removed the sword that impaled him.

"Sasuke…" she whispered.

She found his pulse and quickly healed him. She kissed his cheek and then quickly fled before his waking. Some how he never noticed her, but she was always there. Watching, waiting for him to slips so she could help him to his feet. Forever she would just be a glimmer of light. A memory. A dream. And most of all invisible to his eyes alone.

"Sasuke…How dare you ever leave Konaha. How dare you almost get your self killed. How dare you steal my heart…" Naruko whispered as she sat in a tree looking down on her so called 'friend'.

He had become this way for Sasuke. Perfected his jutsu for many months, and then set out under a new identity to save what was lost.

He woke with a start. It was cold. He was covered in blood with his sword lying to the left of him. He stood, gripping the sword and searching his surroundings for life. Nothing. Or so he thought. His breath was visible as he walked farther into the forest.

The smell of his blood was even enough to bring her to tears. His name created her agony. His face caused her pain. And the memories taunted her mind with lack of hope and broken dreams.

She remembers everything.

When you left.

Your laugh.

Your smile.

Your face.

And most of all your dreams.

Was it her fault you left? Did she cause this? Or do you find joy in her pain? Do you? Answer me that.

'Be careful my dearest Sasuke, I see a certain man heading your way' she thought knowing she wouldn't be able to stop this man if he reached Sasuke.

"Just be careful" she whispered knowing he wouldn't hear "for me…you're Dobe"
