Anonymous Saru: Yet another fic being uploaded from a meme off of my livejournal. Wow, shortest intro ever?
Disclaimer: I don't own Axis Powers Hetalia. If I did, that would mean I own all countries. And that's something I don't want to mess with. D:

Dancing Queen
Gilbert sighed in frustration. He glanced out the window, why did today have to be so—so goddamned clear and sunny outside?! Sighing he set down his pen and rubbed his aching head.
Ever since he woke up, which was around dawn, Gilbert has been signing away at paperwork. He glanced at his wrist watch and sighed. It was barely noon. Slumping over he vaguely heard his stomach rumble. Frowning he ran a hand through his silver hair and mused.
Eat now, or suffer a hand cramp?
Gilbert took the later. He wanted a damn sandwich! With that final thought in mind Gilbert stood and made his way to the kitchen. He took the back route to the kitchen, after all, if someone had discovered that he was out, Ludwig would get in trouble, and that was something Gilbert didn't want.
After all, there was no more Prussia.
Gilbert frowned as he passed Ludwig's room. Deciding to be nosy, as older brothers are, Gilbert poked his head inside.
The room looked the same, even when Prussia had been an active country. Sure the sheets changed, and a few things like some chairs and couches were rearranged, but in all the same it looked the same.
Gilbert was about to close the door, until his eyes caught a silver box.
"Eh? What's this?" Gilbert announced to no one. He walked closer and stared the slim box down. His curiosity piqued, he picked the box up and looked at it. "Three... Oh... Three?" He pronounced oddly. Moving his eyes to the piece of paper that was next to it he spied Alfred's sloppy hand writing.
Hey Ludwig!
I know you're music isn't up to par as mine is yet!
So, me, being a hero and all, thought you should listen to what we have to offer.
Included in this box is a variety of music!
Hope you like them! I hand picked them for ya!
-Alfred F. Jones
P.S. listen to number five on the first album!
Gilbert glanced from the letter to the box. It looked freshly opened, was this the first album Alfred had mentioned? Gilbert thought as he looked at the CD box in question. Deciding to give it a chance, he opened the album and took out the disk. He inserted the disk into Ludwig's CD player and skipped to the fifth song.
As the song played Gilbert stared at the player perplexedly. It had a good beat, he'd admit that. Of course he'd never admit it to the American himself. As the song rolled to the chorus Gilbert's hips started swaying to the music. And before he could help himself he was dancing to the song.
"Ahem."
The song was almost at an end, but Gilbert swore that that wasn't apart of the song. Opening his eyes, which had closed during his dancing, he glanced at Ludwig who was at his door. He froze like a deer stuck in head lights.
"Uh—hello Ludwig, I was just on my way to the kitchen—" Gilbert said.
Ludwig shook his head; a small smile perched on his lips. "By all means, don't let me stop you."
Gilbert nodded as he pressed the stop button quickly; he excused himself from Ludwig's room and walked as fast as he could. He paused however when he heard slight giggling from Ludwig's side.
"Vee, Gilbert seems to like the present Alfred gave you!" A happy voice chimed.
"Mmm. Yes, it seems to have sparked the inner 'dancing queen' in Gilbert." Ludwig mused.
Reflections:
The song in mention is I'm Not Your Boyfriend Baby.
This is definitely my first Hetalia fic. I do hope I got Gil in character. Digressing, the word limit for this was, again 500 words. I went over with 95 more. Whoops. I guess I can't get out much with only 500 words. Oh well.
