Don't own Doctor Who sadly.
A smile plays on a beautiful girl's lip as she fondly remembers a old memory. The girl remembers nights of stolen kisses and how alive she felt when his lips were on hers. She remembers waking up in his bed, her head on his chest as he whispered sweet things to her before she had to go. The memories of sneaking off to unknown rooms and just being together because that's all they ever wanted.
The swims in the library where they would end up ravishing each other at some point- but that's a different story. The long heart felt talks in front of the fireplace or the nights spent just sleeping in each other's arms because it provided warmth, comfort and love. The heated arguments they had which ended up with them kissing each other senseless.
The "I love you"s in random points during the day when no one was listening except them.
Then she remembers the last day they shared. They fought over if she was going to choose him or her husband who was sleeping across the hall.
And in the end she chose her husband because she couldn't bear to leave him alone with the pain of her leaving. She left her lover alone, the one who gave her stolen kisses, who loved her so much that he would destroy a universe for her if he had to.
It was hard to forget such a precious memory for she was young and time was still as she let herself fall in love with a man who stole her away. But it didn't matter, she chose and as she thought back on those memories while sitting in the coffee shop near Central Park. She wishes she chose him. The man who could travel through space and time and was seared onto her heart as well.
Amelia Pond fought off the tears as her eyes became glassy with such fond memories. A small tear slid down her rosy cheeks before landing on her piles of fiction for her new novel.
If she was given one more chance to chose between Rory and the Doctor, she knows this time she would choose the Doctor in a heartbeat.
Please review! I enjoy writing these really heart breaking post-Angels one shots.
