HICCUPS

A/N: I'm back... sorta. Been busy all these while so I haven't had the time to create anything. Finished up this oneshot during my free time. Well anyway,back to the story! R&R!
"Syaoran-kun!" Sakura called out as she ran to the park. The autumn colored park is now deserted, and only Syaoran was left there, sitting on a bench while reading a book. He immediately smiled at her arrival.
"Sakura, you're late," he said. Sakura nodded. "Sorry, I had an emergency just now. Blame it on Kero, he insisted to have me make a snack for him to eat while I'm away" she said. Syaoran was amused at his girlfriend who was profusely apologizing to him.
"Daijoubu… I didn't wait that long…" said Syaoran as he kissed Sakura's cheek, making her blush. Suddenly, a strange noise came out of Sakura. "Hiccup." Sakura covered her mouth as she blushed deeper. "S…sorry…hiccup."
Syaoran couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "What's the matter? You've got hiccups?" he asked kindly. Sakura nodded as a response. She dare not talk, or else her sentence will be interrupted by the 'hiccup' sound.
Syaoran pat her auburn hair gently. "Matte, ne? I'm getting something to help you cure your hiccups," he said. He left Sakura and went out of sight a few minutes later. Sakura sat there, waiting for him. A few more minutes passed. The wind blows the chilly breeze and played with the autumn leaves. The scenery is beautiful, yes, but also quite scary in Sakura's opinion, as she was all alone. She got more afraid by the moment as she heard a pair of footsteps behind her and a sudden chill behind her neck. She was about to scream when suddenly…
"Boo!" Syaoran's voice issued from behind Sakura, making her jump. "Hoe? What was that for?" asked Sakura angrily. "Well,they say that we can scare away the hiccups. Let's see if it works." replied Syaoran as he sat beside Sakura. They waited for a few moments, hoping that the hiccups had already gone away but it looks like Syaoran's scare haven't cured the hiccups after all.
"Aww…hiccup…it didn't work…hiccup…," said Sakura.
"Here, drink some water. It helps for me." said Syaoran as he handed her a bottle of water.
"Un… arigatou…" smiled Sakura gratefully as she drank the water, pausing for a few while only to be disappointed at the outcome. Her hiccup still won't go away.
"Time for Plan C then," said Syaoran rather mischievously as he turned his face to her, leaning in to her inches by inches.
"H-Hoe? What Plan C? asked Sakura, a blush slowly creeping up her features.
"Mmhm, this…" he said as he leaned in fully to capture her lips with his. He made it a short kiss, but ensure to kiss her the way she liked it.
He left her lips a bit reluctantly and looked at her blushing face tenderly, waiting to hear the 'hiccup' sound coming from her mouth. He smiled proudly as he managed to 'scare away' the hiccup.
" Looks like its gone now, ne?" stated Syaoran.
Still blushing, Sakura nodded in agreement. "B-but, the way you make it go away is… weird…" she said shyly as her face reddened again.
"But that did the trick, yes?" chuckled Syaoran. "Feel free to have hiccups again, I'm always available to kiss it away…" he said with a slight smirk.
"Mou, Syaoran is a meanie!" exclaimed Sakura as she hit him playfully on his arm.
"I'm just joking…" said Syaoran assuringly as he ruffled her hair. " I just want you to know that I'll always be there for you, and that I love you…"
"Un, I know…" said Sakura as she smiled and snuggled to him.
