Painted.
It was a casual Saturday afternoon for the Titans, and the Tower was nice and quiet with most of the female members out for the day. Jinx, Kid Flash, and Bumble Bee were visiting for a few days and Starfire insisted she take them to the mall. Kid Flash opted for staying at the Tower with the guys, it was a lot more fun playing video games with his gender then going shopping with the opposite.
Currently they were taking a snack break and Robin, Kid Flash, and Cyborg sat around the kitchen island eating chips and drinking soda. Guy related small talk was made as they enjoyed their junk food and sugary beverage, but the real fun didn't begin until Robin spilt some soda on his glove. He swore quietly, before walking over to the sink and took off his glove to wash it, and the others couldn't help but notice the bright pink nail polish on his nails.
"That's a great color on you Robin." Kid Flash joked, and Robin immediately hid his hand.
"Was it that or sparkly purple?" Cyborg added on.
"Did you watch Twilight while she painted them?" Kid Flash said in a curtsy voice.
Robin huffed and rolled his eyes as he took off the other glove. "Okay guys, let's get it all out." He said in irritation.
"It's okay Rob," Kid Flash began as he started taking off his gloves, "Jinx got to me too." He said showing off his purple painted nails.
The two sidekicks then turned to Cyborg, somewhat waiting for him to do the same but he only smiled in response. "Sorry guys, but I don't have nails to paint." He said waving his robotic hand. "But I will say that didn't stop Bee from trying."
"Yeah, so why didn't anyone tell us that getting a girlfriend came with painted nails?" Kid Flash asked.
The others shrugged as the common doors opened and in walked Beast Boy. They all kind of wondered where he was, it wasn't like him to miss a gaming binge.
Beast Boy walked up to the fridge and pulled out a soda before turning to the guys, and he couldn't help but grin at the brightly painted nails. "Did I miss the slumber party?" He asked.
"Man, you're lucky, I bet Raven never paints your nails." Kid Flash grumbled.
"And even if she did it would be something like black, or dark blue." Cyborg added.
Beast Boy huffed, "Well I would rather her paint my nails then some of the other things she does."
"What does that mean?" Cyborg asked, and the others were eager to know as well.
Beast Boy put his soda down and pulled up his shirt over his head, before turning and showing them his back. All over his skin was black tribal looking markings.
"What is that?" Kid Flash asked as everyone stared in bewilderment.
"It's some sort of ritual she does." Beast Boy shrugged.
"Is it like a sex thing?" Robin asked.
Beast Boy rolled his eyes, "No, it's not a sex thing."
"Is it a tattoo?" Kid Flash asked and Beast Boy shook his head.
"It washes off, it has to do with meditation or something."
"Is that why you missed our gaming session, you were off getting painted?" Cyborg asked.
"Yep, Raven declined Star's offer on going shopping and we spent the past few hours in her room."
"Are you sure it's not a sex thing? We wouldn't judge you if it was." Robin asked again.
"Yeah, Jinx can get pretty freaky." Kid Flash added.
"It's not a sex thing." Beast Boy said again before the common doors opened and Raven walked in.
"There you are, come on we have to finish the practice." She said as she stirred some black paint in a glass bowl.
Beast Boy sighed and grabbed his shirt as he and Raven walked out of the door. The others couldn't help but look back and forth at one another at the situation, before Robin glanced down at his nails once more.
"I still hate getting my nails painted."
