In which Grammy Norma gives Ted different instructions on how to get a tree.

NEVER! Despite the crossover warning this is meant to be humor. Though it could be seen as horror considering half the crossover.

"So Mom," Ted began at the dinner table. "Do happen to know there's, like, anyplace to get a real tree?" His mother and grandmother were startled at the question.
"Why would you want a dirty old tree?" Ted's mother asked. "When we have the latest! The Oak-a-matic! It's the only tree that comes with its own remote."
"Yeah I know." Ted was dead tired of his mother showing it off.
Thankfully hid grandmother saved the day and convinced his mother to go off to find her teeth.
"If you want a real tree, all you have to do is…" Pause for dramatic effect. "Watch this tape."
Ted took the tape and between looked the tape and his grandmother.
****45 Minutes Later****
Ted rose the remote to turn the tape off as the finished playing when static made him jump.
A eerily realistic well against a back drop of cut down Truffula trees appeared. A stone with the word Unless was embedded half way up the side of the well.
The picture briefly blurred as a figure rose from the well. It quickly cut to a still the figure coming closer and closer.
Ted was somewhere between confused and scared. He nearly screamed as a man in green tail coat and pants came out of the television screen. He was dead sure he was going to die.
The man held his hand out to reveal a seed. One that would fit perfectly in Ted's palm.
Ted took the seed and was too shaken to notices the man bowed and seemed to blow away with a sudden breeze.
'Now what?' He thought to himself. "Grammy!"
And so Ted saved the day and showed the townsfolk what had happened to the outside world and how to fix it, destroying O'Hare's empire and for a brief time the local economy.
