Authors Note: Most everyone is talking about Nick's lovelife which has too so with Kate. So now I think it's time for Kate's turn. So this is just when she is relaxing at home, thinkingabout Nick. (After writing this I noticed it might be easier to write about Nick after all)

She soaked in the bubbles. Life couldn't get anymore confusing. It just wasn't fair. How come she was feeling these things around Nick? Normally she was so level headed, but lately she could hardly focus on her job. She got out of the tub and got dressed. She lay in bed.

RING,RING!!!!

" Hello?" Kate answered the phone.

" Kate, I just called to say.hi?" Nick said in to the phone. She smiled to herself. Maybe her feelings were not one sided.

"Sure, ok. Hi. So why did you really call?" Kate asked.

"To say hi. Does it bother you?" he asked in a taunting voice.

"Oh, gee. Yeah it bothers me to hear such a mean thing to say. Yeah it really bothered me." Kate replied sarcastically.

"Hmpf! Well that's the last time I'm calling you at night Miss Sarcasm." Nick said teasingly. Kate hoped he was joking.

"How can I make it up to you for being so mean?" Kate asked.

"How abouta dinner Saturday night?" Nick replied. Kate was stunned. Did he just ask her on a date? Like a Date with a capital 'D'? Oh no, she was starting to sound like she did in high school.

"So does silence mean yes?" Nick asked hopefully, bringing her out of her thoughts.

"UhYes it does." She replied. For once she didn't have a comeback. He seemed to notice that too.

"No sassy reply? Nothing? Your brain stop working or something?" Nick laughed. A beautiful and rich--- this is your partner you're fantasizing about!! Get-him-out-of-your-head!!! She told herself sternly.

" Well I'll pick you up Saturday then. Ok? Bye." He said.

"See you then. Bye." She said as they both hung up. Well now she would find out what she felt for him. She just had to wait till Saturday night.
