So, sup peoples? This is Kato, and I share this account with my buds, Total, Jay, and Flatuater (don't ask). I decided to try my hand at this fanfiction writing stuff.
This one-shot's ending is loosely based off of I Won't Say I'm In Love in Disney's Hercules.
Disclaimer: I don't own Homestuck. If I did, Eridan would be a bigger part of the plot.
Your name is Feferi Peixes, and you glubbed everything up. You just ended the best thing that ever happened to you: your pale relationship. Why? Because you couldn't take seeing Eridan's brokenhearted face when he saw you with Sollux. Because you share his flushed feelings.
You used to think that flushed feelings were a myth. A fable used to dazzle young grubs and wrigglers. When you accepted Eridan as your moirail, you never expected for your pale feelings to grow redder each time you talked to him. You never really acknowledged it, labeling the feelings as "sisterly". You were wrong to do that.
You never realized Eridan felt the same way until he awkwardly brought it up after you ended your moirailship with him. You could imagine him blushing deep purple as he suggested matespritship. But, being the idiot you are, rejected him. Rejected the one troll who made you happy.
Then came Sollux. You knew it was wrong to be using him as a rebound. Sollux reminded you of Eridan, so when he offered you matespritship, you saw it as a second chance. A do-over round.
So much for that, seeing as you are lying in a pool of your own blood.
You guess it was your own fault. You went to go talk to your fellow seadweller to try to make ammends, Sollux going with you. He insisted although he didn't know why you were seeking out Eridan. You felt awful for what was to come after your conversation with Eridan. What was supposed to come.
Eridan met you unexpectedly in a corridor, wielding a white stick. When he saw you with Sollux's arm wrapped around your shoulders, his eyes widened, then darkened. The same purple eyes you loved became a swirling storm of emotions. You remember him yelling, but not recalling what. You were too busy on figuring out how to tell him about your feelings. Selfish, now when you think about it.
The next thing you know, Sollux is knocked out and leaning against the wall. His yellow blood added splatters of color to the dark gray walls. Eridan was pointing his white stick, which you now realized was a wand, in your matesprit's direction.
You don't know what came over you. You saw red and ran towards Eridan, spear in hand. Yet another mistake you made with Eridan. And then you felt white-hot pain in your chest. You stumbled onto a pile of something and laid there. You wondered what had happened to the troll you loved.
You felt your breaths slow, your eyelids droop. As your last breaths were leaving your body, you realized that you never said the words out loud. I love you, Eridan. Those were your final thoughts. Then you allowed yourself to be handed over to Gog.
How was that? Anyway, read and review and shtick.
Kato out.
