The wedding was over and they were all crowded in the room after the speeches. John was looking at Sherlock, Mary was off getting drinks for them.
"Well," began Sherlock, John immediately fixed his eyes on him, telling to tell what he was going to do next.
"I was told that a wedding would be an emotional occasion" John frowned, wondering what the hell his friend was going on about. "I was skeptical at first," John could see where this was going…
"But now I see that even the wedding cake is in tiers," Sherlock looked at his friend, expecting applause or at the least, a smile. As it was, John had to fight down a smile. "For such a genius, you are incredibly stupid," John turned away from Sherlock, and let himself smile, just for a second. He began walking towards Mary, across the room, Sherlock following him like a kicked puppy.
"But, John, that was my best one yet…"
