"Ethan for the last time, there's no such thing as zombies!" Megan almost screamed.

"You're just angry that you can't scientifically explain zombies." I replied.

"I an not angry." Megan retorted, painting a slight smirk on my face.

"Now get this substance to the lab."

Spending all day around dead corpes is well... scary. You're aware of all the ways people commit murder. And working with, that just adds to the pile of things I have to fear and worry about. My biggest fear? The zombies apocalypse. Any one of these corpes could suddenly rise and attack. I have to be able to strike at any moment.

"Ethan!" I snapped out of my thoughts as shouted my name. I had been standing there for 15 minutes staring into space.

"Uh, lab, right." I ducked my head and power walked out of the room.

While waiting for the lab results. Kate and I had a little chat.

"Kate! I have mund boggling news!"

"What do you want Ethan?"

"Megan doesn't believe in zombies!"

"That's because zombies aren't real Ethan."

I stared at her, eyes wide open. I slowly backed away as I turned around and broke into a run leaving Kate in her office. While running and screamed,

"Doesn't anyone believe me?"

While running in the hallway a pair of familiar hands stopped me.

"Ethan, where are you going boy?"

"Escaping this world of non-believers."

"What happened?" Curtis sighed with a look of annoyance.

"Kate and Megan don't believe in zombies." I explained, holding Curtis's stare.

"Oh no. That's their problem. But when the apocalypse comes. We'll be the ones saving their sorry asses."
