Chapter 1

Lucario POV

"Uggggggg…. wha, huh? Where am I? What's going on?!" I had awaken in a pitch black…. Room? Dungeon? Hell? Well, somewhere. I could feel my wrists and ankles cuffed down, and I was held up vertically. I had a horrible headache. I tried using my aura vision, but my mind was so swampy I couldn't think straight. I felt like I'd been drugged.

Suddenly, I could faintly make out deep breathing; someone else was in here. My headache had finally down to a minimum (but still faintly there), so I was free to concentrate on my Aura vision. I looked to my left to find a Psyduck with his eyes closed, breathing long but fast, as if he had just ran a marathon. He too was bound with metal cuffs, sitting upright. I could sense that he was unconscious. Maybe we had both been drugged.

I needed to get out of here. "Psyduck." I whispered, in case someone was listening.

"Uhhhhh…..Psy?" he kicked his webbed feet a bit, eyes still closed.

"Psyduck!" I said a little louder. "Mmmm…..Psy….." he said with a small smirk.

He was asleep. Must have been a good dream.

"PSYDUCK!"

This time his eyes shot wide open, and his body tensed and flailed- not much since he was trapped.

"PSYYYYYYYYYYDUUUUUUUUCK!"

Crap! Someone might hear him! "Shh, shhh, okay sorry, sorry! Calm down!"

"What? What's happening? Who's there?! Why is it so dark?!"

"Hey! Listen! I'm Lucario. I can see you with my Aura vision. Just calm down, and maybe we can figure out how to get out of here."

"Oh, well nice to meet you, wherever you are. Uh, I just remember I was at a party with the other Psyducks, and then Joey handed me some purple bottle of liquid and told me to drink it. It smelled a little funny, but I was tired and just decided to trust him. What could go wrong? I took a few big swigs, and nothing happened. I tasted alright; something like grape soda. But when I was about to say something, it gained a strong aftertaste like pure vodka. I began to stumble around and I felt dizzy, and my legs had minds of their own. I think I hit the floor unconscious. And well, here I am."

I thought about that. It wasn't currently important; the mission was to escape the…. place we're in.

And then came the shots.
