hey guys, this is my writers block. im waiting for more people to review my story (hint) so well, im just being bored. besides, cant think of what to happen next!
If You're Gone matchbox20
I think I've already lost you
I think you're already gone.
I think I'm finally scared now
You think I'm weak - But I think you're wrong
This was the last day of the season, before the second year pages left to visit their families or stay in the Palace. Neal, or course, was staying. His Kel, though she didnt know she was his yet, was leaving for Mindenland. He bit his lip. Kel. Would she go back? Would she meet someone else before he told her?
"Im such a baby, cant even talk to her," Neal muttered to himself.
I think you're already leaving
Feels like your hand is on the door
I thought this place was an empire
But now I'm relaxed - I can't be sure
"Whats the use?" he had mentioned to Cleon a few days before. "She wouldn't stay for me."
Cleon just grinned. "Then you dont know her very well, do you, my man?" He clapped Neal on the back, slightly sad, for Kel had turned him down every time he offered.
I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - I think too much
Neal took a deep breath. "I have to do this, this may be my only chance!" Bracing his shoulders, he strode up to the figure walking away in the distance.
I know this is wrong it's a problem I'm dealing
Kel was walking away, her stride sure and strong. Neal smiled shyly. He could remember the first day he met her. Awed by her composure and stubornness, he had Sponsored her. The complete older brother.
Now, five years later, Kel had grown up. The swish of her gown in front of him reminded Neal what a lovely lady she was now, but still retaining her spirit that had lured him to her in the first place as a child.
"The older brother figure. Great."
Kel swirled gracefully around. "Neal? I .. I was jsut looking for you."
Really?
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
Cuz there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you
"Kell..." Neal stammered. "How are you doing?" He swept her a shaky bow.
Kel grinned. "Neal, what are you doing?"
I bet you're hard to get over
I bet the room just won't shine
I bet my hands I can stay here
I bet you need - more than you mind
I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
I think I'm just scared - that I know too much
I can't relate and that's a problem
I'm feeling
If you're gone - maybe it's time to go home
There's an awful lot of breathing room
But I can hardly move
If you're gone - baby you need to come home
cuz there's a little bit of something me
In everything in you
I think you're so mean - I think we should try
I think I could need - this in my life
Neal gulped.
I think I'm just scared - do I talk too much
I know it's wrong it's a problem I'm dealing
"Kel? Please stay!" he blurted out.
She opened her eyes hazel eyes wide. "Neal, are you ok?" She took his hand.
Neal stared down at her's entwined with his hand. Kel's was shaking slightly, but the expression on her face was Yamani smooth. Yet, there was a flicker of emotion in her eyes.
"Kel, stay with me. Here. Dont go."
Hugging him around the waist, Kel smiled. "I was looking for you to tell you the same thing!"
Neal supposed he was the happiest squire in the whole palace.
