Down the Rabbit Hole

As it approached,
As the curse threatened everyone in the realm,
the only light in the darkened, mid-day sky were lightening bolts
Made of pure, malicious magic.

With all the evil Alice had seen in her life, this one truly frightened her.
She clung to what would no longer be hers in this new world.
She clung to the love she would shortly lose.
It hadn't been that long, but the relationship between the Rabbit and the Outlaw
had become something to warrant True Love in this realm.
Rumplestiltskin was near, but he knew of True Love by now and allowed the girls a few moments.
He even went as far as helping her father keep her close.
He gave Killian a small, white elephant carved of ivory.
It contained enough magical properties in order to keep them together in this new world.

Alice had faith that at least she would have her father in this new, peculiar place.
Perhaps they would lead the life they always wished they could; Together.
No poisoned heart.
No painful separation between father and daughter.
For a woman who traveled from realm to realm a lot,
this was a new and unknown territory.
She held Robyn's face in her hands and looked at her.
/Really/ looked at her.

"We'll always know each other,
Even if we don't"

The words fell before the tears did.
And then they were all but an echo of a distant memory.
A memory of a dream.
A dream of a better life.

Alice startled awake.
This time, she was only awake for a mere second.
Then Tilly looked around her humble abode.
Her abandoned shipping container, fit for a street rat like herself.
Alice threw the pills away.
Or was it Tilly?

The small pot cracked and the blue pills scattered across the floor.
That was the moment Tilly decided she didn't want herself to take them any more.
Her own thoughts battling with themselves.
Any other person would be clinically insane if they admitted
to having two people inside their head,
which was probably why the blonde was on
that dreadful medication in the first place.
Although, she couldn't even remember far back enough
to when she started taking them.
