As always I own nothing…

Friday night. Serena was invited to Blair's for the night.

"How are things going with Dan?" Blair asked Serena.

"Good."

"Just good?"

"Well, we kind of had a fight yesterday."

"What happened, S?"

"I saw him having a coffee with a girl and…"

"You jumped to conclusions?" Blair guessed.

"I'm afraid so. In fact, she was interested in his writing. He was just showing her some of his stuff. He was doing nothing wrong and I showed up and got upset and said words I wish I hadn't said."

"He'll forget about it."

"I don't know, B, it was pretty bad."

"Go to his place tomorrow and wake him up with kisses, coffee and croissants. He'll love it." Blair said, "You know he loves you so much."

Serena faked a smile. She knew she sometimes had a temper. But she also knew that Blair was right.

"Enough about me. Tell me about Chuck, did he finally say those three words?"

"Nope."

"Are you mad?"

"Yup!" Blair was really mad, "If he was here right now…" she said showing her fists.

"I see."

"He's just so annoying, you know. He's so not romantic, not about feelings. He's so…"

"Chuck," Serena laughed.

"Yeah. I told him we could be together if he said those words."

"Maybe he's not used to being open about feelings." Serena said.

Blair wasn't even listening to her friend, she just needed to vent. "I know he wants that but he won't say the words. He's so bad. He's evil, no soul, nothing, no emotions, he's just bad, just about lust," Blair went on.

"Is that so bad?" Serena teased.

"He just pisses me off!" Blair yelled.

"Hey, calm down, I'm not Chuck!" Serena smiled.

"Very funny, S!"

"He just gets on my nerves all the time! I want to scratch his eyes out! I hate him, I swear I do!"

Serena was laughing. Her friend's behavior was just funny to her.

"Why are you laughing, S, it's not funny!"

"You're so in love with him," Serena concluded.

"Shut up!"

At that moment Blair's cell rang. It was Chuck.

"Hey Blair, can we meet tonight? I have something to tell you."

It better be those three words or else! Blair thought.
