When I turned my head, Edward wasn't there. Instead he was looking out of the window.

"Edward, what are you doing?"

He turned around with a smirk on his face.

"Bella, I can't take this anymore." He started walking towards the door.

My eyes widened and I grabbed hold of his arm.

"Wait, what? Edward what are you talking about?"

He looked at me. "I need to get out. Away from all of this. It's too overwhelming. This perfect life is too much to take in at one time."

I wanted to cry. He unlatched my hand from his arm.

I dropped to my knees.

"So this is it." I asked.

He turned around. His hand on the knob. "What do you mean?"

"Renesmee needs you, Edward."

He smirked. "No she doesn't need a murderer as a father."

"Edward Anthony Mason Cullen. I can't believe what you just said." I got up from my knees. "Renesmee needs you because she loves you! She is you daughter."

He came close to my face, almost like he wanted to kiss my cheek. "Love is just a word, Bella. It may be a sence to you, but it means nothing to me. That little girl in there doesn't need me. I'm nothing to her. I'm nothing to you."

"Don't say that. Never say that, Edward. No. I love you. Don't do this to me. To her."

He walked away from me to the door and turned around.

"Got damn it, Bella! Don't you get it! I'm nothing! Nothing to her! You can look in her little eyes and see the fear she sees when I'm around. I terrify her, Bella." He said in a horse voice.

He walked out the door. I ran after him but he was no where to be found.

"Edward! Edward! Edward!!" I yelled all around.

Something shook me.

"Bella, darling. Are you OK?

"W-What? Your back?"

"Bella, love I never left."

I looked stunned. "How could I have a dream?"

"You must just had an illusion." He said to me.

"Oh, Edward. I had a terrible illusion. About you leaving me and Renesmee and never coming back."

"Shh. It's okay. I'm never going anywhere. Never."

I got up from the bed where we laid and went into to check Renesmee. She was sound asleep in her bed.

Edward rapped his arms around me.

"She's an angel, isn't she? Her dreams are of us. You me and her. A perfect family together."

"Yes, she is an angel. One for our perfect family." I said.
