~Christmas Confessions~

It was a cold, crisp afternoon in Mobius, and Sonic and friends have decided to throw a nice Christmas party. Amy Rose, the cheerful, love-loving girl frolicked down the city sidewalks, along side her best friend Cream the Rabbit, and the bubbly Cheese Chao. They were going shopping for supplies for the party and they were both quite excited about it. Especially, Amy, believing that Sonic will finally confess his feelings to her. Amy sighed happily and quickly twirled, making her warm, pink dress spin along with her.

"Aah! Can't you just feel it, Cream? Christmas is in the air! It felt like this year went by fast, hasn't it?" she asked her. Cream nodded and smiled brightly. "It sure has, Amy. I can't wait to bake cookies with Mama for the party." Cheese agreed with her perking "Chao!" voice.

"Oh yeah! Your cookies are awesome! 'Specially those sugar cookies! Mmm!" Amy licked her lips hungrily and continued to skip merrily. "I can't wait to get those! Maybe Shadow might try them this time." Cream frowned a bit, remembering that he wouldn't do 'child's play'. "...Maybe so..." she said softly. The pink hedgehog frowned herself and apologized, "I'm sorry to bring that up Cream. He'd better try your world's best cookies or else I could knock some sense into him!"

The beige rabbit sweat-dropped and giggled. "Hehehe! Thank you, Amy..." Amy nodded and pulled out her list. "Wow...I still have some presents left to give. Including my sweet Sonniku!~" She squealed happily. "...but..what should I give him? He has all the coolest stuff...snowboards, skateboards, iPod, iPhone...geez...I want to give him something special this year..."

"Don't worry, Amy! Cheese and I will help you even if it takes us all night!" Her best friend cheered. Amy grinned. "You're right Cream. Let's do our best together!"

It was now 6:38 since they have been shopping. Amy, Cream, and Cheese are pretty exhausted after their hunt. "Amy, I think we need to rest right now..." Cream admitted. "But...! Oh...alright then..." Amy agreed, disappointed. The two walked to a snack shop and sat down onto a bench. "If you want, Cheese and I will buy pretzels if you'd like." Cream suggested. "That would be nice, thanks a lot Cream..."

After the two left to get in line, Amy sighed, closed her eyes, and slid into her seat, feeling as if she had failed. "I've got everyone's present...except for Sonic...ugh...what am I going to do? If I don't get him anything, then he'll probably hate me..." "Why don't you get him something he will enjoy?"

Amy's eyes shot back open, and looked up to see Silver the hedgehog. She weakly smiled and greeted him, "Oh...hey Silver..." Silver sat down next to her. "Finding him a gift, huh?" Amy nodded in response. "Well, have you given him music? Something for a sport he plays?" Amy looked down at her feet and kicked them back and forth. "Well, many people have done that for the past Christmases...but I really want to give him something special...something he'll always remember..."

The platinum hedgehog frowned himself and laid back against the bench. "Hm, that's tough..." he shook his head. "but it's not impossible...I mean, you say you love him right? Show him something that can really prove your love to him..." Amy gasped softly and looked at him. Silver gently smiled at her back and got up. "Well, I'd better go. If I don't give Blaze something, she might burn my tail off!" He chuckled and waved goodbye before he left. "See ya, Amy."

"Something that will prove my love...?" She thought. "but I have tried to give him that bracelet last summer...but Eggman destroyed it..." She sighed and clutched her fists tightly. "Well...maybe I'll try again this year." At a right moment, Cream and Cheese arrived with the pretzels we're back Amy! Sorry for the wait." Amy took her own pretzel and shook her head. "It's no problem. Thanks." As they began feasting on their snack, Amy now has the confidence to give something special to Sonic. If she can find it of course...
