"You gotta come on, come on, say that we'll be together. Come on, come on, little taste of Heaven." ~ Untouchable, Taylor Swift

She follows her dreams, he follows his hopes. Most importantly, she follows him. Because he's this beautiful, incredible dream that haunts her.

They've always had each other.

He makes her feel like the Heavens are showering their blessings on her, andonly her.
She loves him more than she loves anyone, needs him more than she needs the sun, more than she needs oxygen.

(Wrong. He is her oxygen.)

Above all else, he's been protecting her, saving her, since… well, since forever. Longer than she can remember or even imagine.

(She's convinced he's been her savior in a previous life. Or something like that.)

Each laugh, joke, tear, each memory she's shared with him she collects in her brain. They're her favorite thing about him.

He's handed her his heart on a silver platter, he's shared deep secrets with her, cried in front of her. He's literally opened his entire world to her.

She holds onto every word he's ever said, to her or not, she holds onto his hand and sometimes, she even forgets to let go.

He doesn't care, as long as he can cling to her when he's nervous, when he needs her the most.

Oh, that's right. In her eyes, he doesn't get nervous because he's the the most perfect being to ever exist. To her.

He basically owns her soul, he hasn't even got her to sign a contract, hasn't even tried to gain control and somehow, someway, it's his. It's been his.

Sometimes, that really scared him. It really did.

The worst part was anybody could see how he basically owned her. They could see how she felt about him. She wore her heart on her sleeve.

(For God's sake, even Silver could tell.)

One day, she's falling. She's in desperate need of saving. Her hands are loosing grip on the edge. She's done for.

So, she lets go and prepares for the impact that shouldn't really be happening to her.

(But he was not there, not with her.)

Except, she feels arms catch her, bring her close, hold her tightly, hold her like she's the world.

(Because to him, she really is.)

He's mumbling comforting words into her hair, making sure she's alright.

She's lost in his haunting, soul capturing, beautiful brown eyes.

"I love you," she tells him.

"I know," he whispers back, with a smile.

He lets his lips slide down her cheek to her lips, and he captures her in a kiss.

Distances are closed, the stars light on fire and she doesn't care. She loves him.

She wakes up, fluttery, feeling flighty.

What an intoxicating, perfect dream.

She sighs and feels his arms around her waist, his breathing soft, his enchanting eyes closed. He's so at peace that it brings a smile to her face.

She closes the distance for a quick peck and slides back into his arms comfortably, drifting off.
