Silence.
"K-K-Kino...Hime?"
"Yup.", he said nonchalantly though a light blush still remained on his cheeks, "Do you know her?"
"I...that's..."
"She's a very nice girl from school.", he pressed on, "Very nice. Though not very pretty."
"HEY!"
"Hm?"
"N...Nothing!", she fumed. "I'm planning to ask her over to eat some Omelette Rice. And maybe meet the cats. I think she'll get along well with Katherine..."
"Um...y-yeah."
"And maybe go out with me. What do you think?"
"H-Huh?", she looked a little scared...but felt hopeful. Could it be?
"Will she go out with me?", he asked with a strange expression on his face.
"How...how should I know?", Hime looked away, "I'm..I'm not her!"
"Hmm...", he smiled teasingly, "How indeed...?"
Silence.
"Well, I'll let you think it over.", he grinned widely, "I hope I can hear an answer tomorrow."
"What?! That's too soon!", she froze, realizing her blunder. "Uh...uh..."
He looked positively delighted, "The day after then!"
