1. Shirts.
He looks like a lumberjack biker who just got out of a brawl. And he always looks good in them.
2. Contact.
He is so freakin' distant, at times it's unbearable. He writes her a letter—once out of a whole three months—and even then he doesn't say anything. When she writes back, he's already left.
3. Hair.
She touched his hair once—and tried moving it to the side, but it bounced right back. After her curiousness was sedated he hadn't allowed her to touch his hair again.
4. Rules.
He downright refuses to let her drink—Or go out late. Like a father, but when it comes to her sweating after a workout he will NOT let anyone make eye contact with her.
5. Healing.
It takes less then a minute for a severe wound to heal. And by then he's lost a teaspoon of blood. Sometimes, she envy's him, but it also becomes useful for when she's mad—at least he can take a punch to the jaw and not complain.
6. Smell.
When it rains, he smells like a wet dog, very faint but she notices this. She commented on it once and he turned to her, shot her a grin, glanced towards her nether region and said something about "That time of the month." She never brought it up again.
7. Bimbo.
He came back with a bimbo hanging on his arm—the bitch barely spoke English. But she bossed Marie around like a servant. She didn't hold back from hitting him with a wrench that night, and mysteriously the bimbo was gone.
8. Music.
The Logan in her head must hear Johny Cash at least three times a day, have a beer and a cigar. Very disgusting habits indeed, but when Logan busts her in his room, doing all those things he doesn't comment, just joins her.
9. Dreams.
He sleeps almost peacefully sometimes, but one night she wakes up to him whispering her name. He doesn't tell, she doesn't ask.
10. Want.
He doesn't say it, but his eyes do. She knows he wants her. So on her 20th birthday she plans to wait in his room with beer, a cigar and a country music CD. See how that works out.
