Drabble Time! I really want to stick to the traditional length of drabbles which is exactly 100 words. Still up in the air as to whether this will be a collection or not.
Protection
All his life Dave has protected himself. That's why he was a bully, why he used violence, and why he was afraid. He was afraid because if anyone found out there would be
nothing, no armor to use. And suddenly then it was gone. Everything he had worked to build was gone. Before, he had always been able to plow through, cut down his
enemies with his sword, one by one. Now, he knew that he was facing an enemy that couldn't be cut down and no matter how big his shield, he couldn't be protected.
And so he ran.
