Revelations~~~~~
Uzumaki Naruto was what most considered a oddity in the shinobi world. The boy seemed to ignore all of the mandates of the shinobi code, and did things his own way. When he was told to blend with the shadows, and remain hidden from view, he dressed him self in all orange. When they told him to hide his emotions, he wore them on his sleeve. When he was told that shinobi were calm and quiet, he preferred to be boisterous and loud. His temper got the better of him, and he never slowed down.
Yet despite all of his differences, and what most shinobi considered to be failures, the boy was stronger than all of them. He fought daily against the demon Kyuubi, which had been sealed in him at his birth. Never allowing the beast to take control, or influence his actions. He stood strong against foes that would have made others hide in fear, along the lines of shinobi such as Zabuza Momochi and Orochimaru of the Sannin.
He used the senjutsu of the toad summons in a way that had them all stunned. In a way that not even his teacher, Jiraya of the Sannin, had managed. He gathered the sage chakra while moving. Something even the elder toads said was impossible. Even considered as the dobe of his graduating class, Naruto recreated, perfected, and enhanced one of the two techniques of the Yondaime, the Rasengan. Where the Yondaime had failed at Elemental manipulation of the Rasengan, creating the Rasenshuriken.
And then, when Konoha and her forces had been devastated by Pein and his 6 bodies, Naruto appeared and defeated him. Where others had failed, Naruto succeeded.
It makes one wonder. If shinobi had to be quiet, dark, and emotionless to be great, how could Naruto, the antithesis to those traits, be so strong. Is it because of the fox, perhaps his parentage? Or is it because of his determination. Determination so great, that he would let nothing stand in his way. Whether it be overcoming a technique that mangled his arm, fighting against S-ranked shinobi after his life, or overcoming the prejudices held by his village, nothing stopped him.
So even as the oddity that he was, Naruto was greater than all others. He had more will than the Kyuubi, more strength than the God of Amegakure, and had more drive than Uchiha Sasuke had vengeance.
Perhaps when the inevitable time comes when Naruto is named Hokage, because most assuredly with his determination and strength it will not be held from him; shinobi will follow a different path. Maybe this blond knucklehead will bring in a new era. And hopefully, his drive to succeed never fails.
